I don't remember the last time we had a decent run with injury. 2010 is probably the best season for injuries we have had in the past decade. Something must be seriously wrong for us to get serious injuries this frequently.

Lost for words. This seems really improbable. Don't know anything about this sorta stuff but it has to be more than coincidence. 2014 we hobbled into the top 4, we've been cruelled early 2015 and the more of these we get the closer this season gets to being a write-off.

I just get this awful feeling injuries are going to plague us for a few years when we should be making a premiership tilt..

Hopefully the team will play half as good as they will look. Given the injuries, I dont really care if we lose. As long as they play with some heart I will be satisfied.

Ronnie Palmer and his time is up imo. its simply not working.

Our injury issues go back to well before Ronnie Palmer. I recall a few years that had a bit of promise destroyed by injury as far back as the early 80's. Since Royce was coach we have had probably 3 years where injuries weren't a big drama.

1997 wasn't too bad, apart from Brandy being out foe a good chuck of the year
2000 was bearable
2003 was good
2004 was average, Girds was out for a fair stretch iirc
2010 was good

Other than that every other year has been dire.

Not sure Whare will play on a wet ground which could aggravate hamstring injury if not completely OK. Rennings to play instead. Did not think Brown was being considered and Scarlett would be a total surprise. I think Smith may come in for Aoi. Taylor will be Captain.
