I know its unpopular but I would like to see us take the 2 on offer whenever its available, I feel it just eases the pressure on our halves/attack especially if we go a decent part of the game without scoring, just keeping the scoreboard tick over helps us.... I think it also helps us momentum wise

obviously if we are down by 13+ we need to look to score etc.....

Yeah we did that in a few of the wins after Cleary got injured.

Won't beat good sides being that conservative. Need to back ourselves

Taking the two is very good. Particularly in the early game when the defence is fresh. Everyone struggles to some extent with this.

High tempo suits us, the faster the better. The way we use our back 3 and then Yeo and Kikau. This is why Wal should be given the tap on the shoulder. We are clearly the fittest side in the comp

2nd half absolutely but 1st half whatever gets the scoreboard ticking over. Look at last week kept spreading it stupidly early in the sets. When is the last time anyone ran us down? Get 2 or 4-0 up. Score a try if we get out to 12-0 we will put a score on

I agree. That's why we kick a few early, get possession back outaide the 20 where the defence has to retreat the full 10, wear out their middles and kill them as the game goes on.

It's the perfect game plan for our strengths.

When Wal went of and Katoa(?) came on the speed of the game amplified and that's how we got our points.
I love the old man but I think it's a bit like the old cattle dog you keep around. Doesn't do much and barks a lot but you can't pull the trigger due to your love of him.

Don't want Katoa burning too much energy defending. Don't want to waste a change on Wallace coming back on. After 50mins I'd be making the change

I suspect that Wal carried an injury into the game. A couple of weeks or so again Wal did some pretty effective kicking, which releases Maloney to be in the attacking line. He didn't kick at all in the last game which tied up Maloney. Does Katoa have a kicking game? If so, I suspect that he may get more time, perhaps after Wallace the first 20 or perhaps Wallace goes to half.

Tom.

I've seen on another site that Wal is out and Katoa is in, but it's not on NRL or the Panther's site. Has anyone got any idea?

Only thing do far dupporting that is Egan stayed in the cut down 19 man squad.

Wallace might be in doubt. So Egan is his cover
