Do you think he is playing to orders by the coach, I know its a dumb question, we have seen it before, not getting involved in the game.
He probably is mate. And if he is, then it helps to get him experience in first grade. But it doesn’t really help the team either. It’s a catch 22 mate. I’m sure Hook knows what he’s doing. It’s worked thus far the last few games.

way too many offloads causing 2nd phase play and us scrabbling, we cant play like that against Melb...
Spot on. Our defense dropped off too once JDB was benched. Play him for 80 and give Moose and Sims some bench time. I agree too about Moses.. our best player. I think we will get even better from him in a playmaking role. Lomax continues to be starved of the pill at centre. With more room to use his silky footwork he'd have more impact from the back.

Amone's chance to claim the 6
While he played better when given some space it is clear Junior is not a playmaker but a running 5/8. The skipper needs to go to hooker with Moses taking junior's spot or do we have a clever playmaker in the lower grades as Sullivan is not one. Perhaps reinvent Tyrell as he has ball skills. I can see a Tyrell/ Junior halves combo working better than the current one.

it was nowhere near as bad as JWH on Su'a, if he gets pinged dragons should take it to the highest court in the land :))
If you go to nrl.com and watch Annesley’s weekend review he gives a pretty good explanation of hip drops. The Sua one is explained and I concur with the decision not to charge JWH.

Comments from the Tigers fans have been that the refs' decisions favoured us and we were allowed to slow their play the ball down unfairly. And, also that the no-try should have been allowed and our players were allowed to be over aggressive in tackles.
I hope this is not what we sound like to other supporters after a loss.

Pity. What they did see was an 8-1 penalty count against us and "missing" a couple of forward passes and knock-ons from the Tiges. They don't like it when one of their mates gets stood down (even if it's totally justified). A bit of pay back.
Will we get Andrew Gee to referee any of our remaining games? If so, what are the chances we cop it big time like penalties, sin bins, six agains, etc.

I was there and i was sitting very near tigers fans, they certainly looked pretty happy with the 8-1 penalty count , virtually all the 6 agains, and some pretty dicey bunker calls, so unless they were watching a different game they have nothing to complain about, they should also tune in to their coach in the press conference who had a good idea on why they lost, and it wasnt the penalty count.

Can understand your concerns BLM01, the sooner these guys come into it the better, I'm willing to swap Amone and Mbye, but genuinely something has to be done with our attack, we can not continue to just hand the ball back or have a bomb kick on tackle 6.
Simple, get the attack deeper so Sulli has some space like Sharks do with there big bopper & then maybe Hunt will have some more space for his kicks, instead of being charged down.
