My 14-year-old son came in the room towards the end of the first half and said Hey Whats Going On?

my thoughts about sunday are it will be a great game, looking at it a bit more in depth we have 2 clubs that have followed the same path for a number of years, yet here we are with both fan bases looking to go 3 wins on the trot, that in itself presents a huge achievement for either club after the starts to the season both have had. The follow up to a win here would also have either team sniffing around the 8 and a massive confidence boost for what lays ahead. I know the ANZAC day clash is a huge day both mentally and physically and for the Dragons recovery and preparation for the Tigers would be paramount. If the forwards can produce what they did against the roosters then that is where I think we may have the edge, as for the backlines I think they may be very similar, both are still trying to find combinations there are now injuries on both sides so there is the element of unknown in both sides. The crowd will be a leg up for the Dragons and certainly the confidence is there now after their defensive display last monday. Im sure the Dragons will be switched on for this game and wont take WT lightly, they cant afford to take anyone lightly. Lets keep our penalties and mistakes and missed tackles to a bare minimum, lets run hard, tackle hard and keep that fighting spirit alive, above all lets play in the spirit of the Dragons.

It will be a tough game so if the Dragons apply my formula they will win.

I am only worried cause the Tigers have had the wood on us most times in recent memory

I posted that the Tigers have beaten us 4 out of 5 times down at WIN Stadium in recent games. Currently the Joint Venture Clubs are 14 wins each against each other. I am worried that Madge has finally found the right structure of the team in putting Brooks at 6 and Hastings in the 7 position. Their forwards are tough and our guys have got to stop David Nofoaluma in his tracks as he is very dangerous all over the park and particularly close to our try line.

The Dragons have got to stick to the formula of D + C + S = W.

I'm guessing the "JA" people refer to is the Jubilee Avenue forum. I thought that place was a myth or a fantasy land like 'Westeros' or 'Narnia'. I starting clicking on the join button, on the forum home page, about 2 years ago and all i kept getting was an error message, so i just gave up. Just tried again and still getting the same message.

Maybe one day i'll stumble across the secret way into the club like Kramer did with the Van Buren Boys.

Oh well...like a lot of things in life, maybe the fantasy of the JA forum in my mind, might actually be better than the reality...

Guess i'll never know...

You and I both mate. As long as people keep relaying the useful parts of what's posted in JA that will do me!

A chance to go 4 and 4.

We have a horrible recent record against the Tigers. While that's embarrassing, I am finding this year I am more resigned to the fact that we are not entitled to anything. If anyone deserves favouritism it is them.

Can we beat the Tigers? Yes.
Will they roll over for us? No.

Our boys better turn up ready for battle and a thirst for victory like last week, or it will be another dark afternoon against the Tigers. The crowd will be ready. No excuses.

With little confidence, Dragons by 4.

I’m heading down to the gong for this one.
We need to target Luciano Leilua a bit, last few times we’ve played them he has destroyed us.
Tigers are a thorn in our side, gotta beat this team. If you watched tiger town documentary last year, Madge “we only beat St George”
Made my blood boil! Screw the Tigers! Let’s go Dragons.

Bookies have the line at +4.5 tigers.
We’re hardly raging favourites mate…
Couldnt agree more, it will be a close game, and WIN holds no fear for the Tigers, If we dont get on top of these guys early and we have to fight our way back into it, that makes me nervous. Anyway I'm holding faith in the guys to carry the momentum from the last 2 weeks into this one and have a good gutsy performance.
