Johnsy with Expectation, Reality & Reflection = 80
Passionate but yet it seemed stalled and couldnt get going but overall a decent way to wrap up the season.
Godzilla with Greatest speech of modern history nominations = 86
Somehow I think comparing a post match outburst made by Nathan Brown to that of the likes of Dr King may be a bit fanciful but the one thing they all have in common is passion for the cause. And the writer did convey this well.
Juanfarkall with The old man wiped a hand across his brow. = 86
A nicely constructed story. Formatting in certain places could have been better to make it flow better but overall well done.
The Preacher with Just Who Are The Supporters = 78
A rant that was definitely on the money. If you managed to extend it further and perhaps fragment the piece a bit more, the mark would have been higher. But I like what I did read.
Ribs with All is well = 87
Well constructed piece on the health of the game and the little changes in the nuances.

Edabomb with Opportunity Lost = 84
Some very interesting points made. The role of the referee in the NRL as opposed to park footy is like chalk and cheese. They may wear the same uniform but the way the game is interpreted is so different. Well thought out, could have been broken up more but a good effort.

A good constructed article. The content may be asking a lot of the reader to believe and take in, but it was melded into a reasonable bit of writing. Im sure SBW may have been a bit young to remember but Anthony Mundine did indeed play representative football, appearing in all 3 matches of the 1999 State of Origin series.
Jamesgould with 1995 The Greatest Season Ever? = 84
I remember it well. 1995 was a year that started the rot but the ARL stuck a big up yours to News Ltd by omitting the Super League players from rep clashes and it paid off with the non SL players winning the big one. The article appeared a tad rushed with a few grammatical errors but a good reminiscing piece.
Freddo with The keys to success = 88
The top 8 as it appears to the writer and his/her views to success. Each team has their own and I dont think anyone could argue with any of the points presented in a well constructed manner. (For the Broncos, I would probably throw Ben Hannant into the mix as an internal key as well as Slammin Sam)
Hallatia with Another SBW article = 80
Nobody can argue that Mark Gasnier leaving is a good thing for the game but if you compare him and SBW, its totally different. Gasnier had a get out clause in his contract, SBW didnt. Gasnier is finishing the season with the Dragons, SBW packed his bags in the dark of night. The writer certainly attempted to see things from his point of view. There were a few grammatical errors, commas where full stops should have been but I commend the effort.
