f**king hell. How can anybody be so deluded as to think that was an even close to acceptable performance?

Don't think it was more so the side played well rather individual players tried. Tariq was f**king intense in defense, Uate was strong, Gagai was quiet but reliable, BJ stepped up, Korbin hit hard, Smith's defence was good for the most part.

It would have been a wonderful day if we had a controlling and decent half out there. Thought Mullen played alright, nothing special but swap him out for Roberts in the second half and it would have been a different story. Despite how shit the game turned out to be, really it came down to two players costing us everything. A number of players deserve credit.

Duck, said as much in the press conference.

Stone did look pretty upset during the presser, so MAYBE he was just coming out with cliques so he wouldnt end up saying anything too controversial....

But, f*ck me, listening to Kidley was bloody painful. The fact that he could produce that performance and even face a press conference tells me he is just delusional about his effect on the team.

Nothing will ever change with this club. Hagan was exactly the same and he is heavily involved in the club.

The only way the clubs attitude will change is when we continue to suck over the next 5 to 10 years, the crowds decrease even more and we go bust. If there is no club there cant be an attitude.

Gidley lost us the gameand I hope Rick realises it, Stone was hardley going to say that in the presser though.

Well, we've got 2 weeks off now. I assume Scott will be back.

1. Gagai
2. McManus
3. Leilua
4. Sione
5. Uate
6. Mullen
7. Don't even care. Chuck the ballboy out there.
8. Snowden
9. Clydsdale
10. K Sims
11. Scott
12. T Sims
13. Smith

14. Randell
15. Tapine
16. Stockwell
17. Houston I guess... sigh...

I'd like to see that... but who am I kidding? We'll just get more capypasta and mindless rhetoric from the coach. Unless we hold Gidley accountable for his form, there is no accountability in the squad. Players will look at that and go "why the f**k should I care?"

I like this team, but Mamo in for Jimmy IMO.

The closest we have ever come to changing this BoysClub culture was under Brian Smith. And in the end it was probably that culture that ended up pushing him out....

Jimmy has been WAY too solid to be cut, but i do agree Mamo should be given a shot...

Personally id either like to see Jimmy shift to Centre and BJ into the backrow to run the fringe lines, or even just Jimmy onto the bench > backrow (he was doing this back when Vuna was keeping him out of the 2 jersey)...

Oop, my bad. He went to fullback, playing in the middle tricked me...

But i stand by the BJ > Backrow thing. He's heavier than most of our pack so size wont be an issue.

He's a damaging runner but there is nothing he does at Centre that he couldnt do in the no.12 and it would be great to get Houstan out of the side...

Stone will never get a job elsewhere after he gets the sack here, if that is what he means. I like Stone as a coach, but have some balls and do what needs to be done. Credibilty zero.

That's the bit that surprises me, if he messes this up, he is done.

Now does he assume that he's a lock for another contract, perhaps he thinks he is but if they have two shitty years then someone has to pay the price.

He needs to think of himself and start cutting a few passengers loose.

Actually I am kidding myself, we'll run 12, start next year 1-3 and he'll get a 3 year upgraded deal.

We have hit peak stupid.

We all knew Stone was like this. It's exactly why I wasn't chomping at the bit to get him put back on. He's good coach tactically and man-management wise but his selections have always been horrendous. He's never had the balls to drop under performing players and never will.

Saying that though, the errors we're producing at the moment are hardly the coach's fault BUT when it's the same blokes doing it over and over again he needs to cop some blame too for picking them. I'd say the likes of Gidley, Roberts and Houston are going to cost him his job but that would imply that the club won't settle for mediocracy and we know that's not us.

Sorry bro but its worlds apart these days. I cant see him seamlessly shifting to the backrow

Why move our biggest attacking threat out of the centres to shoehorn an ok winger into a position he has never demonstrated he has any of the skills to play. I've never understood the Jimmy to centre theory, but it is popular so there is obviously something in it I don't see.

If Stone drops Gidley he can pretty much justify not re-signing him. It also show the players accountability for the next 2/3 of the season. The fact we are still 8th is remarkable.

Centre to second row means that he moves infield 4 metres. Its the same position, just running close to the middle.
