Mbye at fullback too is killing me, he’s actually not playing all that well, people say he is, but he isn’t. Get Sloan in,
By all reports Sloan looked disinterested today playing reserves, does he want to be a first grader and live up to his potential or not?

Mbye has been brilliant the past few weeks and many of the people you mention who have said he is playing well (me included) have been lauding what he is bringing in defence at the back.

Would much prefer a state of origin player with a good attitude busting his ass at fullback for us than a rookie who is showing attitude problems.

I would love an upset win over the Storm however the fact is that they have been playing almost perfect football in their last few matches and there’s no way that Bellamy would allow them to rest on their laurels .

In fact it would be the opposite tack with him and that is to continue on with the perfection and create a match winning run - eerily as the great St.George teams once did .

Nevertheless I am expecting a resounding Dragon victory with our boys giving their all in ‘ D ‘ to keep the Storm scoreless and send the beggars packing back to Sin City !

Dragons by 4 😇

I believe Mbye has got better with each game at FB. Sloan has been impressive in NSW Cup but not today. He did not have a good game but I would certainly argue it would be grossly unfair to say he was disinterested. As far as I am concerned he was trying at all times, perhaps trying too hard in a team which fell behind early then wanted to score every time they had possession resulting in constant turnovers and more opportunities for the Dogs.

Like other players he was impatient, an attempted grubber into the ingoal travelled barely half a metre from his boot, an attempted 40/20 went out on the full. 3 of 5 the Dogs' tries came from kicks into the ingoal, with one of these Tyrell collided with the ref but another under the posts he seemed out of position. But hopefully the youngster will learn from an off day like today.

Disinterested, certainly not! Disheartened by full-time? Possibly. I know I was! It must be hard for blokes like him, Ford and Kerr who want to challenge for NRL spots to be on the back foot for most of the game.

Mbye has been “brilliant” and Sloan is showing “attitude problems”?
Give me a break!!!
Mbye didn’t look brilliant to me when he failed to stop Luke Brooks head on last week which resulted in a soft try.

Sadly, I can’t see anything but a flogging today. Storm are celebrating 2 of their forwards 150 & 200 NRL games.
They never seem to miss milestones and do it well to honour them.
I cannot see us matching them, too quick & too strong in all areas plus the Ref will favour them as usual.

Nah...Storm find a milestone to celebrate nearly every game its over the top and boring.....haha.. Jealous not.
But they do like celebrating victories nearly every game.

Saints win via a penalty try from a contested bomb in the final second of the game. Bellamy taken to hospital after having a stroke while kicking furniture around the coach's box. Cameron Smith complains about a penalty count massively favouring Saints and is ignored by everyone. Smith's wife returns her diamond ring in protest. Macca named man of the match due to his numerous darting runs and line breaks being the dominant feature of the game.

I keep visualising the players the Storm have got lined up today as opposed to our players and keep shaking my head as to the disparity of them. Like chalk and cheese and milk and water and Laurel and Hardy. Just no comparison I'm afraid. The same goes for the big difference in the ability and success of the coaches.

We possibly will be able to compete for the first couple of minutes if they kick off first and we hold onto the ball for our first set, but they will be showing too much razzle/dazzle and scoring at will thereafter. They win by 30+ is my prediction - sorry guys.

Ok what happens today if they get pumped ? will he drop Mybe from fullback , and give Sloan another go ....... I don't think so ...... Hook will stick with him ..... I have said before the young blokes need game time ( whether they win today or not ) I hope we do get a win , if that was to happen today , Then Hook is a Genius , and it would be one of the biggest upsets in history , but , but , but ......... You can fill in the blanks .......:rolleyes::rolleyes:

We might put a spell on them when they see how the Dragons footy is in slooooow motion , they will go into a daze and cant move their legs and Macca scores a long range try and we win .......🤣🤣🤣
