The majority of the profit from the Leagues club is gambling too.

It was nice to have Panthers Stadium but got to take advantage of being runner up last year while we can

Was it during Gus’s reign he decided to not to have a stadium naming rights sponsor or was it the case there were no takers. Cant quite remember.

They can call the stadium Cameron Smith for all I care if they are paying the cash. One of the lovely things about living in a free country is we can call it whatever we want. The official title doesn't mean a whole lot in the scheme of things.

There's something majestic about this pic. Dyl looks like he's seen the future and knows he's scoring a hatrick, Staines looks like he's seeing a football for the first time and Kenny is is checking out how sexy the training shirt is.

Looking at the Storms side, our forward packs monsters them. I am hopeful in a Panthers victory.

May covers the halves, hooker, centre and could play in the forwards also. He is also under contract. I would chose him and develop him further. He is only 24 and only had 37 games. Most off the bench. Prob equivalent too 15 odd games.
His development due to suspension puts him back 1.5yrs....
He had an ACL as well in the week 2 final of 2017, only played 10 games in the back end of 2018. That cost him another 15 or so games.

I agree Cheese is a great 14, but I don’t think he’s better.
Prop and Wing are literally the only positions May doesn’t have experience in playing.

I honestly think he adds a lot more than he gets credit for, I’ll be the first to admit that I didn’t really notice how much he adds.

I was watching the Doggies game, at work, with a bunch of dogs supporters. They all said how they hate it when May comes on. I said why?? He’s usually only covering Api or a forward, they said it was because he’s a smart player and always creates something. Nek minute, try.
His strengths are strong. His weaknesses are frustrating.

May is a very good player imo. His utility value is huge and he has genuine vision and skill like a good half, that is always an asset. I don't see many weaknesses in his game, I think he should look to run more but he's playing everywhere its not an easy role.

Very well rounded player. Probably 2 weaknesses are he is very slow and I don't think he posses the leg drive/strength to be a threat in the 2nd row to opposing teams. Even someone like api has a lot more explosive strength even though he's smaller.

Hes passing, vision is good and he posses a decent kicking game. Can fill a number of roles which is probably his biggest benefit. Always nice having a benchy that can cover multiple positions if need be. He is our best 14 option no doubt atm.

I do think as the game speeds up every year it would be nice to have a utility with a lot of speed. We have seen so far this year how badly teams are getting gassed. A quick bloke coming on could tear teams apart that are fatigued.

Craig Wing comes to mind as a style of player in the modern game who would be lethal. He was a special talent tho. Not many 14s getting around like him atm. I think in one of the top 4 teams Connor Watson would be great coming off the bench. I know he debuted for the chooks at 18 but he's really filled out over last 2 years. Has very good speed and step, passing and kicking game. Doesn't get the chance to shine in a pretty average Newcastle team. But I think he'd go good at a dominant club.
