Did I say he didn't?

He should of passed it to Edwards after that break

Shouldn't of made the 2nd effort on the double movement

Throw in the poor read on the Sua try

There are 3 rookie errors there

He did good stuff too but you can't ignore the errors
Yeo, edwards, kiks, staines, too, martin, sos, luai... all made errors.

It was one of those nights.

Tagos error was in a part of the field where it was sort of unlucky..appeared to be a hand in there and we were on the attack and the drags were chancing there hand.

He was one of our best i thought. He was really strong with and without the ball again.

Hes a rookie who is stepping up to the plate and not looking out of place one bit.

It was a good second half to your team, they could have a good season.
I personally didn’t think the sin bins were 100% but I thought Burgess could of had 1 for that elbow. To me the reason you lost was the grubbiness.
Your ruck was just as bad as ours but instead of getting on with the job everyone laid around trying for the penalty. Probably would of had us if you went for quick play the balls.
You guys couldn’t match up in the first half when we had our pack on the field.
Second half was aggressive and made a difference but the milking and niggle hurt you guys more than us.

Great summation.

This.

Take the tackle.
Quick play the ball
We roll it ingoals and build pressure

Like I said. He played well rookie errors are to be expected

That'll happen without Cleary.

I think we have a true test next week. Hard to believe but I think the Knights are going to shape up this year. I had them battling for the spoon.

I think Salmon is doing a good job on the bench. I like what I've seen of him.

Would May come if To'o is out next week.

Who replaces Fish if he is out, and we need another bigger body rather than Kenny on the bench.

Probably Taylan, maybe Turuva gets a debut?

Smith (either Chris or Lindsay) is probably next man up in the front row stocks.

You guys got away with murder in the ruck plus a couple of iffy sin bins, all of your points barring the charge down came during the first sin bin as well.

Very happy with the Dragons performance tonight.
The Sua one was iffy. The Lomax one was deserved. Burgess could have gone too, Koroisau likewise. I think Burgess will get a bluey. Dragons had us under the pump the entire second half, good defensive effort with key players out.

I’m very happy with the two points, away from home against a really committed Dragons side.

The usual suspects will not quite be so happy but that’s just the way it is sadly.

Difficult game mission accomplished.
Wasn't a difficult game until injuries and laziness made it so

Of course they did but you need to look at the time of those errors. We had no bench the 2nd half

We were way off across the field

It is Round 2 errors are too be expected

I just commented on his rookie errors. Made no comment on how he played. As it was a poor standard game

Im happy to have a utility..

Salmon just doesnt offer anything
He’s competently defended in every position that’s been asked of him.

Everyone likes to bag May and say he’s Ivan’s second son and shit, but then wtf does that make Kenny? May’s attacking contribution will be 10 ducking times that of Kenny’s and that’s all you all pay any attention to.

Like wtf are you comparing Salmon to? Who is this mythical attacking utility we have that made May a poor option then and Salmon now?

We aren't getting it to the halves attacking their line. Cleary will get repeat sets if we don't turn the ball over

Nah Knights will struggle.
easy to get up for a game here and there

So who?

Who can play the multiple positions needed?

Id play kenny at 14.

C smith
Spencer
Sorensen.

Have to just play with injuries..

Issue tonight wasnt the injuries.

It was the fTigue due to drags pressue and the fatugue on kiks side..could really have done with c smith coming on..

You say salmon played halfback🤣🤣🤣

Cmon mate. Get a grip.. the whole time....whole time sos was off he didnt do a singke half thing. Luai kicked and luai and api, edwards and yeo did the directing.. im not even sure he touched it when sos was off other than one hit up???

Yet you credit him as filling in at half to suit yor narrative.

He didnt do anything there mate.

Not knocking him. Hes just not nrl standard..

Personally i dont mind have kenny on the bench but him and api on the field at the same time.

Similar to how melbs play with b smith and grant.

Its extremley effective..one runner one playmaker.

But dont confuse salmon filling holes as actually playing them.

Salmon was good tonight, filled in Everywhere and in a game we got outdone physically he 4 tackle breaks and 32 post contact metres, that’s almost double Spencer’s pct and tackle breaks with only 1 more run. He’s a better utility than May was imo and definitely would have him in the side over Kenny.

So with that bench tonight who covers when sos goes off and who shifts to centre when Brian goes off?

Salmon had plenty of touches when Sean was off that is ridiculous to suggest he didn’t.

Since that actually happened, we need Plan C With Salmon at half, we were on our third choice halfback, yikes. I think we moved Crichton to the wing, bad move and then Salmon at centre when SOS came back on. Surely it's easier to defend on the wing than in the centres? Put Salmon on the wing?

It's a brutal competition the NRL. Round two and we are three men down.

Sean come back at half time before bizza went off, I think kiks came off at halftime and Salmon played a couple minutes in the back row before Brian went off
