Tyrone is gone ffs he got a chance after he plead guilty to what most consider a terrible thing and the first thing he did after we win a grand final is bring it back up as if playing in a winning team some how vindicates him, criminal stupidity good riddance. He’s got no one to blame but himself, whether you like it or not sponsors are stake holders we have obligations to them.

I wonder would they have sacked Nathan for the same thing. Of course not, he is essential to the team. People thought we could replace TMay, but that so far hasn't been the case.
The dumb f**k scumbag wasn't sacked until he doubled down. He should really be in gaol

.........

Ivan and Yeo didn't once in the presser use the injuries as an excuse. That is a good sign for going forward
Well, if there is one thing that Ivan has shown as a leader is he takes responsibility for his actions. He never uses excuses to explain a loss. I admire that about him. That and his ability to be humble, even when we won the premiership.

If you want your team to improve, it must take ownership of its losses. Blaming injuries, refs and other issues just shows a lack of humility and personal responsibility. Players will look at the coach and think "oh, not our fault, the injuries were the issue". Personal accountability will make players strive to be better. Trent Barrett, take note.

Ricky Stuart, and Trent Robinson, also should take note.

As old school can someone explain in detail what 'middle' and 'edge' forwards mean in simple language.

When he left Sharks to go to Parra Rothfield wrote an article stating how big a loss he was & how he’s a 200 game nrl star. Let’s hope that comes out in him. I too think there’s a footballer in there.

I don't think he will ever be a star. But he can be a solid bench utility that won't cost and arm and a leg.

I feel like I cursed you guys with my depth comment and injuries. Rnd 2 and they are piling up.

I think Too can be covered but Leota and JFH out makes things a little thin.
Depends if they are long term but it might be Spencer's time to step up and get big minutes. Kikau/Martin can also play middle with Salmon in the 2nd row a possibility

Simply put, along with the 9, the Middles defend the ruck (or the middle of the field)

The edges (halves, 2nd rowers centres) defend the left and right edges, normally considered the 3 dudes inside each winger.

Thats a very basic explanation. It does get a bit more complicated as the game plays out.

Time for Lindsey Smith, and J'maine Hopewood, to step up.

I think we played well given the circumstances But

65% completion is bad

Their 1st try I thought was lazy work to not have anyone compete for the kick

The Sua try was poor communication.

So that is thinks to improve on but it is Round 2 and you want to keep building

This.

Both have differences. The edge for example are more one on one tackles

So need to read plays better.

Sua’s try was definitely in part because of tagos bad read, not saying it’s solely his fault but he went out to the centre instead of going in to sua, it was a bad read for sure. It’s not a problem Burton came up with a few of those last year also inexperienced centres will usually have those moments I just find it funny that some don’t want to admit what was obviously a bad read from tago, Luai had the ball carrier Tago had cover the hole runner, if they go outside sua and score in the corner then so be it that is better then opening up a big whole further in.

It isn't death riding Tago by saying that either. Teething problems was always going to happen
