From the nsw cup highlights turuva and jennings are most likely cover for any outside back injuries.

Sean has played centre before, and he is a great tackler, maybe, with some practice, he could fill in at hooker?
Where did he play centre?

I'd also be interested to see if he would make a decent hooker.

Hopgood played edge. Moving him now makes no sense

Leinu needs to build up more. Keep him on the bench for now

Eisenhuth will do a job and can ease him
into it
I don't believe Leniu needs to build up more. According to the rumour mill, he is the strongest man at the club. Considering males don't physically peak until their mid twenties, that is remarkable. More size will slow him down. He makes plenty of metres per run and plenty of PCM. JFH isn't a big prop and yet he can deliver the yardage game because of his mobility and strength, I think the same applies to Spencer.

We keep forgetting that he is only 21 years old. He is still learning the game and building up the physical condition needed to be a top tier prop. It doesn't happen overnight. as he gets a bit more experience he will improve and deliver on his potential.

Incidentally, in 2021 Spencer had the highest run percentage in the NRL (source Rugby League Eye Test). The run percentage is the frequency of runs a player makes during their time on the field. This highlights that in the limited time he gets on the field, he puts plenty of effort in. Clearly, he has the right attitude to do his best for the team, he just needs experience.

Patience fellow Panther fans. Patience.

I love Kiks but he is over priced for what we need. Capewell plays both sides and can play centre better for the squad balance
Capewell announced early on that he wanted to go home to Queensland, so it wasn't entirely about money.

I could be wrong, however, I think at the Warriors.
I just went and checked. 12 games, 10 at 7 & 2 at 6. One of the games he was at half he wore no 20, came in as a late replacement.

Still no reason he couldn't adapt, but the defensive decision making at centre would be a worry. Burton managed, but had an off season to learn it.

I meant at 9. He has the defensive capabilities to do that. Imagine Liau, O'Sullivan, and Clearly, on the field, at the same time?

Wallace and Gower both managed it. Ben Hunt as well. I have no idea if SoS could manage it, but it will be interesting if he gets a run there in Cup to see if the club thinks it's worth a shot. I'd say Soni Luke will be getting first shot though.

More pacing himself across longer minutes. Leota used to when he went to longer minutes make basic errors at the 15-20 min mark.

Leinu's metres per run and most stats he is right up there. Is it able to be maintained across 50 mins instead of 25?

That is what I mean by work up to it

Gower started as a Hooker didn't he ?
