Some big WTFs there... in particular Sunday Night Footy in Round 6  - perhaps they've seen it reap benefits for the Jets and want to give it a go???

Looks like it Stranger, I've seen that on both Newcastle and the Dragons' sites so far. Teams are slowly updating... no prizes to guess who still doesn't have it up... NRL.com

Yeah youre right..

Maybe they will have the 2pm and 3pm match on split screens? Well I hope they do.

And then you gotta wait a few hours for the next game.

Match on delay... people won't want to wait to see it late either :)

On the other hand... lots of Ch9 exposure... this week vs Pemriff, R4 v Soufs, R6 AND 7 :D

Surprise surprise, still no FTA games for the Raiders and Warriors. Pretty poor when you consider that 19 FTA matches have so far been scheduled.

In all fairness, NZ have a bye in there, and Canberra are hardly setting the world on fire at the moment...

Give me one reason the Raiders deserve a FTA TV game, especially after the way they played last week! The Warriors will get some in the future anyway probally away from home though as if they are at home unless it is friday night, it provides a televising nightmare!

Monday Night Footy in Townsville will be interesting - a significant proportion of the Cowboys crowd comes from out of town (i.e. 4+ hrs drive from Cairns, Mackay, Mt Isa and every place in between). Then again, the novelty factor of a Monday game could see the crowd level restored to our usual average.

Perhaps a crowd between 15,000 and 17,000 wouldn't be out of the question.

I think MNF in Newcastle will be an interesting proposition too... I can't see SNF being too much of a problem in Novoland though, given the publics response to Jets scheduling a lot of games on Sunday nights IIRC.

MNF in Townsville will be a real test.

surely, just Townsville people would turn up... like a majority of them in the crowd (wouldnt have to rely on the others)

Here's one . It is a national comp & as such every team has a fan base,& those fans deserve the chance to see their team play on FTA. Not everyone can afford pay tv.
As a Cowboys fan who had to wait 9 yrs to see their team on fta i know it sucks.
I have no problems with the better performing teams getting more games ,as they rate better, but you still have to look after your fans.
I hate the AFL with a passion ,but at least they do right by the fans making sure EVERY team gets FTA games.
IF the broncos had a bad yr , performed poorly ,& were not shown on FTA next season, then you would be the 1st whinging bitch on here complaining about it.
Wake up ,every team has fans who deserve to see their team play on tv occassionaly.
