Way out of left field but.......
How would everyone feel if he played in the middle. Perhaps lock #13 or even back up hooker. Dylan Walker started at centre and he kills it in the middle. I dont know, just a thought

Pompey's been excellent but RTS has to come straight back in for mine.

He's only played 7 games at center - which was broken up by a stints at wing and fullback - so he's barely got his feet wet, and most of that was with a misfiring left edge around him.

IMO there's too much potential there to not see how he'll go with good ball delivered by in-form players.

Small 'middle' forwards are becoming more & more valuable. The position of prop no longer exists. Tevaga, Walker, CHT eventually, even Jackson Ford have much more foot speed and are more agile in defence than players like Afoa, Ale & Zyon. Unsure about RTS in this role. I could potentially see CNK in the role in the future though.

That's left field alright...but a couple of things spring to mind for me:

- presumably it'd be via a bench spot and if so, who drops out? a potential bench this week of Walker, Tevaga, Capewell and CHT feels really well balanced so hard to see where an experimental RTS would fit (unless injuries crop up again).

- Walker also played a lot of 6 during his time at Manly, and I think that's where a lot of his value as a middle forward stems from. He carries very well himself, but he's also a very good link player like Harris and Yeo. I cant see RTS adding that same value (yet).
