RTS injury

Any news?

He was walking, so I'm figuring he hasn't fully torn a ligament, but I'm guessing some sort of strain or at worst a partial tear. Fingers crossed for the former and it's only a week or two.

yeh, im abit worried based on coaches comments.
Not sure what that trainer was checking when he gave him the all clear. Next hitup he was done for the game.

Test match coming up so a week off for the Storm game and then test might be all he needs... One game at worst hopefully

I've walked off an ACL tear before.. just sayin. They can vary a lot in how much they hurt at the time or limit movement. The swelling and limited mobility kicks in hours later

Thats whats worrying me- though it would've only been a partial tear, not a full rupture, no way you could walk at all if the ligament had detached.

Fuuuuuuuuck. Just our luck. Might as well just pay out his contract and send him off to rugby now.

If only he was wearing shoter sprigs so it didn't grip in the ground and he slipped over instead......

Hold on a minute.

Bugger, huge huge loss
Tui is doing great but still a big ask for him to take over #1 full time

We have a few back up options, lets just hope they all don't go down in a heap like our hookers did a few weeks back, still it gave Jazz a great opportunity to show us he has the goods

If Tui is at fullback for remainder of season, hopefully they stick with TL in the halves and not bring Robson back into 7 and SJ at 6. Who would be our backup fullback behind Tui, now that RTS is gone? Wright, Fusitua?

I'd guess them and maybe Henare Wells if it came to it. I think Kata has covered there before as well? Honestly we are pretty f**ked now if we lose Tui as well though, so best not to think about it...
