i dont want to return to the mediocrity that is TL, Plodson and historically, Townsend, Witt, Rovelli, O'Regan, John, Tuimavave, Moon, Seymour in the last few years.

If Fusitua could just harden up a bit, he would go good at FB and we could still have Tui at 6

With TL on for all but 1st 20 minutes, I think we went pretty well. We only conseeded that one try in the 2nd with 5 or so to go. I think if not TL, then gotta be one of the young guns coming through. Robson in my view is a step backwards. Hinging is young and I'd imagine very green, but as they say, if you're good enough, you're old enough.

From left field.....Isn't Laclan Coote looking elsewhere as being squeezed out of NQ due to cap issues. I have no idea what cap we have remaining but next year we won't have Robson and TL is being offered UK$$$. There's probably a couple of gun NSW/Q cup players running around who'd be keen to give it a shot for remainder of 2016.

Not Fusitua. He takes the wrong option pretty consistently at fullback from what I remember seeing, and has been playing mostly in the outside backs for the last 2-3 years. Great finisher in the three quarter line though.

I know hindsight is a wonderful thing, but when your star fullback twists his knee and is uncomfortable like he clearly was then why the hell did the trainer not get him off for an assessment. Look like the knee collapsed the next play he had the ball.

Somehow this news doesn't seem as bad now as it would've been last week.

Tui can be just as good at the back, perhaps even better considering RTS's defensive lapses. Of course, waving a magic wand, the kid wouldn't get injured in the first place.

As discussed our halves are the issue, is it back to the veterans - TL or Robson - or is it time to blood a new star? I.e. like 2011 and a 21-year old Johnson.

The cruel season begins just as RTS was warming to our system too. This could be the beginning of Lolohea or as others mentioned a young gun from nowhere to burst on the scene.

It's only approaching Round 8 of 26, So much to play for still despite RTS injury.

But in all honesty what won us the game against the Dogs was our forwards going forward, Johnsons kicking game and his smart decisions.
Tui was fullback and TL was 6 so so lets not fiddle with that and see how we go against the Storm
