Rubes or Schif - who will it be?

With only one game to go, the contest for the 2004 'Fans Choice' Player of the Year is a race in two: Ruben Wiki and Clinton Schifcofske. Ruben leads by two, so only a man-of-the-match effort from Clinton will let him take the title.

Who's the most deserving? Is this how you expected the race to pan out? Who else do YOU think should have been up there?

rubes will more than likely score at least 1 point, im expecting a huge one from him, so nothing short of a MOTM will get him the title

Agreed 69 - considering it is Rubes' farewell, I can't see him not polling. He will have a stormer and probably collect the three points.

What concerns me re: the form of the rest of the team is that with 8 weeks on the sidelines, Wiki is still the overwhelming favourite to win the title. Does 2/3 of Ruben beat the efforts of other players? Probably.

1. Countback (player with most MOTM's wins)
2. Voteoff (we all vote who we think should win it in a new thread)

I expect nothing less than him to carve the Bunnies up.

He has looked distracted since he signed (as opposed to his usual barnstorming self) but I have faith that the significance of the game will NOT be lost on him.

I don't think a voteoff would be fair, the surge of emotion would get Muss over the line.
