He'll earn the same at the Broncos over the rest of his life. Lomax I get but Payne would be silly to go
If it’s tax free he would be crazy to say no

After tax its close to four times his broncos contract

Walsh and Cleary would be the only two nrl players that would make a difference to making it watchable.

They are the games most marketable and talented stars

Broncos will just get Tino they will be all good

At the end of the day Lomax isn't really a great loss but I still think the NRL needs to be more proactive here and introduce a system where the top players salaries aren't capped.

1 or 2 players from each team should not be included in the salary cap. With 20 teams, that's potentially 40 of the best NRL players protected. Broncos could easily afford to keep Haas if they were allowed.

Might as well just rename it the Broncos Roosters League
