So somehow with so many spots open at so many clubs, not one club can sign a freakin outside back and free the bloke to actually run..

Andre Esterhuizen, never seen him play, but surely he has some skills.

I just find it weird not one back out of entire world cup is not tried.

NZ excluded, union has prestige over league, plus union backs in NZ know league is harder for less reward.

Surely there is one back in an entire world cup worth giving go in league.
Ok. Why would any nrl side take that risk? To drag across a union player at that level wouldn't be cheap. Union backs have nowhere near the same workload, so there's a risk they can't cope with the defensive workload. There is a production line of backs coming through, who have played league their entire lives. Not worth the risk.

Because we lack players.

So yes worth a shot.

But hey Union is easy, so probably will not happen.

Looks like the risk is about to be mitigated...

Sounds good. But geez, you gotta feel sorry for the Recruitment officers having to sit through a truckload of Union games to identify the talent. Salaries doubled in one fell swoop.

They should just go to South Africa... it'll be a all you can eat buffet at Sizzler.
