I actually enjoy playing and watching union but this is laughable. Touch is supposed to be a fast paced sport and just randomly making players huddle together after each touch just slows things down. It also looks hilarious and doesn’t even make sense.

When you play rugby a ruck can actually be a fun physical contest. In touch it’s literally just 2 people going and standing behind each other for no reason.

It’s just touch with added bullshit no one wants. Good luck.
Yeah, who wants to play oztag but at a snails pace.

Maybe this is what Union fans have been referring to when they say the ARU has been neglecting grass roots? Until now they havnt had any tag options :D

If this is what Rugby Austrlia wants to spend thier 80m loaned money on who are we to stand in the way.

Rugby Australia doesn't have the $ to order a Big Mac meal for the Wallabies, let alone any decent players these days.

As to Zach Fittler, he's been playing SG Ball for the Roosters this year having previously played for the Roosters Harold Matthews team. I don't think he'll wind up in Union somehow. He's not the first league player to also play union whilst still at school.
He was coming off the bench in SG Ball.
