I actually enjoy playing and watching union but this is laughable. Touch is supposed to be a fast paced sport and just randomly making players huddle together after each touch just slows things down. It also looks hilarious and doesn’t even make sense.

When you play rugby a ruck can actually be a fun physical contest. In touch it’s literally just 2 people going and standing behind each other for no reason.

It’s just touch with added bullshit no one wants. Good luck.
Yeah, who wants to play oztag but at a snails pace.

Maybe this is what Union fans have been referring to when they say the ARU has been neglecting grass roots? Until now they havnt had any tag options :D

If this is what Rugby Austrlia wants to spend thier 80m loaned money on who are we to stand in the way.

Rugby Australia doesn't have the $ to order a Big Mac meal for the Wallabies, let alone any decent players these days.

As to Zach Fittler, he's been playing SG Ball for the Roosters this year having previously played for the Roosters Harold Matthews team. I don't think he'll wind up in Union somehow. He's not the first league player to also play union whilst still at school.
He was coming off the bench in SG Ball.

Gaz is hoping to get it played in schools.
Seems it's the same as Austag but you have to pretend to clear the ruck after a tip, have a non contested scrum after a knock on, non contested line out if the ball goes in to touch and the offensive team gets 7 tags before they kick ( which is totally different to leagues 6 tackles lol )

Good luck Gaz, you're going to need it.

I noticed comments got turned off on this video, I'm guessing they weren't too positive lol

Slug Tag.....it's getting silly now.

Might be a better chance of getting it into aged care facilities. Pace of that game more suited, but cognitive abilities might not be there to grasp the nuances.

Anyway, good on Gaz for taking limited cash out of RA and fast tracking receivership.

I’m just going to leave this picture here of Gaz…

And a picture here of this fine athlete…

And that is all I have to say on the matter.

I'm still perplexed as to why Gaz disappeared from our screens. He was building a career as a sideline commentator on fox then all of a sudden he was gone an we haven't seen him since.

Cleary’s Goal kicking and ability to kick a mean drop goal is what gives the leather patch boys a hard on, his running, passing and organisation they will barely notice. Like a skint beggar looking in a posh shop front window, looking at all the nice things they can’t afford.
But he can see the world!
