Why can’t they just make a game that’s fun to play. I still wanna give this a go but I’m not hearing anything good about it.

ARL96 was the great one.

New RL games 2002-03 was a nice enough refresh (Loved the in-goal exploit running backwards...Rhys Wesser saved me many a game). Shout out to Jon Grayson from the Super League.

RL2 was good. And RL Live 3 wasn't bad as well. Gotta say after that slim pickings.

Surely they listened to his recordings before they inserted them into the game? Deadset, he's reading the lines for the first time as he's recording. Absolutely should not be asked back for any future games.

It’s painfully obvious they did the bare minimum to this just to slap in the pro team mode. The sad part is it’s worked as there are plenty of people on Twitter who just want to know when they can give them even more money for this slop.

They need to tell Cam not to build the freezing and buffering of gameplay into his commentary. That's incorporated into the codebase since 2010.

I met Ross about 10 years ago when I went to Big Ant's studio in Melbourne. Stayed and talked for 45 mins.

You couldn't fit a word in edge-wise. He never stopped talking. He was like a shady car salesman. An egotistical, arrogant merkin.

A few months later when I criticized the lack of stats tracking in the Don Bradman game on a cricket forum, he gave me a send-off and put me on his ignore list.

All he cares about is money and his image.

And he's a liar. f**k that guy and his shitty, half-arsed company who make shitty games and deceive their customers.

Well... colour me disappointed

What an absolute sham - I'm ashamed to say I spent actual money on this (not full price, but still)

Exactly the same game as the last one with the most mundane updates - Graphics are marginally better, but all the poor gameplay remains.

Especially pissed off they took ALL the viewable stats away - You can't view in game stats and there's no option to see season stats across the comp.

Sprouted the bullshit of updated online play (that pro shit) and it's doesn't even work - I just get a "this is in maintenance" message.

Sons absolutely love it because it's updated teams and whatnot, but why the f**k is Cleary in the 6!?!?!

And BS in the 7. I'll probably give the career coach thing a go so I don't need to bother attempting to actually play the games.

Pretty much. When I get really bored I'll work out how to transfer all our past players to the Dogs and then Play Panthers A vs Panthers B. I'll keep Galvin as 18th man for some amusement.

He's a lazy shyster.

I hope a lot of people seek, and get, refunds for this trash game.

This just seems to be the case with every team, they have the halves swapped around because they are incompetent idiots I suppose.

Its just a social media post but I hope its true.

The NRL should absolutely be embarrassed by this product. It deserves number one ranking as the worst sports game ever made about RL.

Thankfully the AFL and RU have equally terrible games. But it would be nice to have this space locked down by us.
