Nobody is yet protesting anything, some hack journo who is best mates with Phil Rothfield has tweeted that some retired players have called for a protest.

I don't think it'd have much of a reaction here, half of the footy players don't even sing our anthem so what difference does it really make kneeling? lol.
The yanks are the ones that are hysterical about their flag and national anthem.

if the gripe is with the NRL, I can see the madness in their method. Reactionary and counterproductive, yes as the NRL does some great work in indigenous communities, as well Indigenous round, all stars game, close the gap, learn earn legend etc. If it's a "protest" against the other 2 options, it misplaced, makes no sense at all.
