Yeh but who did u being into the side?

I'm penrith and bought

Harry Sjeika (NYC)
Joel Thompson (Raiders)
Tim Lafai (Bulldogs)
Stuart Fielden (Wigan)
Pauli Pauli (Eels)
Dane Philips (Souths Logan)

Lost

Cameron Ciraldo (Bulldogs)
David Simmons (Warriors)
Shane Shackleton (Souths)
Chris Armit (Released)

And a few others were not picked up by other clubs

First offseason I bought:

Martin Tapau
Gavin Cooper
Chris Lawrence

Chris Lawrence was a weird one. He was cheap and I found out the Tigers bought Hodges and SKD.

Second offseason I bought

Sam McKendry
Ryan Carr
Sironen

I bought others too but can't think of them now. None of them have made much impact.

Currently my best 17 is

1. Hayne
2. Mullaney
3. Atkins/Morgan/Blair
4. Lawrence
5. Loko
6. Kelly
7. Sironen
8. J. Mannah
9. Keating
10. McKendry
11. Cooper
12. Paulo
13. Horo

14. Penese
15. Moi Moi
16. Tautai
17. Allgood

I still have T Mannah

M Barba and Waters as as well as a Brit called Godinet as the halves back up. Carr at hooker is a handy player
Alot of younger players have really stepped up.

With the style I play, I find players that are strong defenders and good at fending are my best players.

Sironen is a beast at fending. Sandow was given the flick because he was asking a buttload of cash.

When I get rid of the rest like Tonga and Roberts I will make some bigger purchases and I still have Hindmarsh and Ben Smith on roster (they are not playing because I think they should have retired.

I had to let Maitua go. First trial for the Storm, he smoked me.

I had a crack at this game the other day for my first time, I must say. I didn't really enjoy it. It was okay, I wouldn't buy it though.

Is there a really noticeable weak team in the game?? My first year I played Parra in the grand final...I then patched the game & updated the teams to 2013 & now Parra are fighting it out for the wooden spoon with Melbourne....I want to enjoy the challenge of taking the weakest team to the grand final with my skill & astute buys.

Not really, most are even. Just get it to the star players. Barba is a real pain in the neck for Canterbury, constantly fending off my front rowers.

this is gonna sound somewhat embarrasing but i just finished my first season with the Eels, made the prelim final only to be torn a new one by the Roosters, mostly by Anasta, i just couldnt put a hand on the overrated merkin

What level are you on?

Do enjoy the game a lot but its not exactly perfect when it comes to player stats. Joel Reddy fends them away like Lomu.

ive only just re-bought it after returning it after first release, had some coin to waste lol

playing on professional at the moment, but after i lost that prelim final i got the arse for not making any $$$. i can certainly see more replay value post patch, thats for sure. Loving the tactics side of things, along with the ability to play off the cuff, case in point: drifting across field (Hayne) dummy inside twice then throw a pin-point cut out ball to Kenny Sio who skins his opposing winger to streak away untouched.

pisses me off that the instant replay doesnt go back more than 5-7 seconds

Anyone have a team who is their bogey team? Roosters are mine. I have a bad record against them. My latest effort I am 4th roosters 16th and they flogged me 34-6. I just couldn't get a roll on. Mini and Pearce ripped me apart

ive only played one season and was going well until the tigers beat me on the bell, with a conversion after the siren. i find the storm quite easy to deal with. but the team that has truly torn me apart has been the roosters, anasta, and mini (who won the dally m)...

My first season the best 4 teams were Eels (me) Roosters, Sharks and Roosters

Storm finished dead last just behind the Tigers

I think the Storms problem is that hookers are not very effective in the game.

Current season (3rd) the Storm are back at the top and Tigers mid table. Roosters are also mid table but the Sharks have been top 4 the whole time and I am fighting it out with the Panthers for 4th.

It really depends on who they sign. The Dragons have slid right down and when I see their team I can see why.

I won 4 premierships in a row and 4 world club challenges my highest position is. 2nd on the ladder (got knocked out before the gf) and lowest is 7th.

Myself, roosters, eels and tigers are the 4 most dominant teams in terms of making the Top 8 each season

I havnt missed the finals yet

My team now is

1. Barba
2. Oldfield (manly)
3. Chambers (storm)
4. Morris
5. Perrett
6. Maloney (warriors)
7. Hodkinson
8. Kasiano
9. Srama (titans)
10. Grant (panthers)
11. Pritchard (c)
12. Manu (storm)
13. Parker (broncos)

14. Scott (cowboys)
15. Tupuo (sharks)
16. Tolman
17. Vescio (eels)

Biggest losses

Krisnan Inu (raiders)
Kris Keating (roosters)
Dean halatau (warriors)
Jeremy smith (souths)
Michael ennis (titans)
Josh Reynolds (eels)
James graham (warriors)

I've found the key to constant success if you like to simulate like me to some parts of the season (I can't get through multiple seasons) is to keep a core group of players

My halves of Keating and hodkinson won 3 premierships in a row as did my centres of Morris and inu. Which allowed me to lose inu and Keating but still carry on with success with 2 decent replacements

My wingers have never been great but I've had capable back ups like I now have Isaac Gordon as a back up along with Curtis Rona who is a NYC player but highly rated and can play centres too

My forward depth is good too and I always make sure I stock up defence and medical at the beginning of each season and condition is always 2 stars so I rarely get injured players for long periods

i dont play online mate sorry.

so i'm about 5 games into my first season on Pro, finding the going a bit tough. 1 win and 4 drubbings, gave the panthers a touch up 28-6 in round 4, so i'm feeling pretty confident going into round 5 against manly...

uh-oh eels 10 manly 48

f**king jarryd hayne is a revolving door in defence, ive got him at 5/8, with ben roberts at FB, who is 4 points clear at the top of the dally m's

figure that one out lol i put him at FB by accident

how good is Ben Roberts in the game too. I had him as my Halfback (Trent Hodkinson got injured for a while in the last game of the season) so i grabbed Roberts as he can play 7 aswell and is relatively cheap compared to alot of the halfbacks. He ripped for Canterbury in the 8 games he played

I always get rid of Hayne when i'm the Eels because of his price tag and there are Fullbacks who are just as effective like Kyle Stanely and even Sam Tomkins from Wigan who are 100 grand cheaper. Which allows you to really get some good forwards/second rowers

Best buys in position i've had (different teams i've used)

Fullback: Kyle Stanley for Eels
Wing: Michael Oldfield for Bulldogs
Centre: Shaun Kenny-Dowal for Eels
Five Eight: Gareth Whiddop for Eels
Halfback: Always stick with my halfbacks Sandow and Hodkinson are both good in the game without being standouts
Front Row: Tim Grant for Bulldogs
Second Row: Sika Manu for Bulldogs
Lock: Feleti Mateo for Eels
Bench: Jamie Buhrer for Eels

These guys were good for the value and got a good 3 seasons out of each of my buys before their price rose especially Stanley he left me first chance for Manly so i grabbed Barba and he was shit compared to Stanley
