If you are playing Career mode that is correct - Unless you start with a custom team which has the players you want.

Well, this game is certainly holding it's price. I hadn't intended on buying until it dropped a bit and it hasn't really. The Warehouse and JBs in NZ seem to have the best price, even second hand on trade me it just seems to be staying up high. For all it's flaws the times I've played it, it is enjoyable. I may have to just bite the bullet and make the purchase;-)

I bought the game recently and really enjoy it, I don't understand all the hatred towards it from some people.

Yeah I throw a stack of intercepts, but I've learnt how to minimise that now. I'm up to legend difficulty in season 3 with my Raiders career and really loving it.

Put this back into to the PS3 last night.

Forgot how much fun it was.

Moved up from Amateur to Professional and from 10min games to 20min

Started a new career with the Storm and won the All Stars match 51-42.

One thing I don't like about create a team, you can't choose an away strip unless that side has one. Created the bears with the vintage jersey for home but wanted to have the NSW Cup one for away

Rented this out last night, has been quite fun, though only playing 10min matches with my flatmates.

Quite realistic how Gus says "NONONONONONO" & "DEAROHDEAROHDEAR" about once every 20 seconds. I can see how that will annoy people after a short while :lol:

Had one weird little moment where I was holding L1-R1 at dummy half to pass to playmaker, and the ball just went straight up in the air as if it had been punted, out of screen, and eventually went out on the full about 30m behind where the "pass" was made. Such a strange glitch, made me laugh though.

Haven't played enough to have strong opinion, but at least it already seems a lot better than the last league game I played (didn't play RLL1, last was the PS2 one with Steve Price on cover).

Started this up again the other night to give me a break from NBA2k13. Was back onto NBA after about 5 minutes.

I don't know why I'm not really into it. Having said that, I enjoyed the previous versions much more just playing against mates on the piss than playing the career modes.

Can you do dummies in this game? And how do you stop throwing intercepts all the time?

The more cut out passes you throw, the more you'll get intercepted.

Develop a good short passing game.

Does anyone else have problems saving changes in the Footy Factory?

I've been trying to update the Raiders but every time I make changes, I go back in and it's reverted to the original squad. It says it saved the changes but it doesn't.

"Go back in" where? To the footy factory, or to a game with the Raiders?

It's when I leave the team management screen in Footy Factory and then go straight back into team management in the Footy Factory to check the changes have been saved.
