One thing that shits me is when you go for a ball landing close to the line the fullback usually takes it out if you dont control him straight away

Its just really cheap, borderline cheating. I far prefer to play the game more like real Rugby League.

I've never had a short kick off work against me online, I even scored off one in one game, which caused the guy to rage quit.

I've scored off them too.
I just find the short kick off along the ground directly down the middle of the field tricky to defend. Its lame that people to that every kick off.
People should play in the spirit of how rugby league is played.

Have been told many times that if you pick your fullback and just let the AI take the short kick, they will get it 80% of the time. This has never worked for me however. Has ruined many a 'fair' game online.

for PSN & for a high short kick towards the sideline , if you select the player positioned on the sideline and half way, hold the toggle to the direction of the ball and tap triangle you should win this close to 10/10.

The other short kicks I find alot harder to defend - totally ruins the game for me but feels good when you spank these guys

Yeah ok, seems pretty cheap, not sure how much i'd play online anyway, would more verse mates so it'll be an 'unofficial' rule by the sounds of it

I don't think its that cheap at all tbh. Sometimes they come off, sometimes they dont. It's a big risk to give your opponent the ball on the halfway line in a game where going length of the field in only a few tackles isnt too difficult.
