So far my opinion is that its rubbish lol..

For your first game.. drop the difficulty to amateur and play the roosters.. so you can learn it.. learn to punt and learn to fend.. tutorial is good to do..

Good fun.. I'm enjoying it.

I'm getting the hang of it. Does any one know how to kick off? I just keep grubbing it along the ground. Holding up like the manual says but no dice.

Kick off.. hold a button down to power the kick on the bar to just before the red..

In game punt.. pull the left trigger and hold it down then hold the a button down.. then release a button..

A MUCH better game, I won my first game on Amateur 24-12. Things could be improved, but it's cool enough.

Comes out in NZ on Thurs, by what I'm hearing it's better than the previous League games but still not without it's flaws. I think I will rent first if I can to be sure

Kicking in general play is difficult.

Conversions pretty easy after a while and I haven't missed one since.

No game is without flaws... from watching the video az posted before little touches have been added and it looks to play like an actual league game. A compliment i wouldnt have paid the previous titles.

But there are still engine and programming issues no doubt... only way they will get better is by support and Big Ant continuing to work on their craft...

The ai can do some dumb things. It shits me whenever a player gets open the fullback does a twirl and let's the attacker run past. Also whenever a player gets open, the defenders worry about blocking a passing lane instead of performing a tackle.

Having said that, awesome game.
