A few guys have been whinging that they cannot edit the lineups so that the team is saved for online play.

All you have to do is go into casual, select a team make the changes play the game and when you try to play another game mode it reverts to the edited line up.

I made a few changes to the raiders and I don't have to change the lineup each game.

It's a small touch but I like that you can view other competition results in career mode. Makes it feel like you're part of the league world.

Anyone seeing knock ons? I'm only seeing forward passes (and quite a few) but it could be the low level I'm playing at.

first game on second highest difficulty was an exhibition origin, gone through the hands, 2 on 1 overlap, throw out to the right winger who ends up being James f**king Tamou

still with the props on the wing glitch ffs

Cannot catch a bomb to save myself, if the AI is landing it in the ingoal then it is a try. I started a career on rookie or whatever the 2nd lowest difficulty is and worked out that you can just fend your way up field with anyone, I may need to restart with a tougher setting.

Played a couple of online games and they were lag free although how do you kick off? Most of my kicks go along the ground about 15 or 20 metres. The guys I played against seemed to have the same trouble. Also, maybe he was just good but one dude I played against was absolutely smashing me in defence. He was super quick off the line and belted me, I was lucky to be able to get more than one pass off the ruck and trying to hit it up with forwards was pointless.

I played as Souths Logan from the Q Cup and only just lost to the Storm, and had a nice golden point battle with a guy playing as the Warriors with me as the Raiders. I had the lead early, then he battled back and ended up winning with a try in the corner in golden point.

When you play online ranked do you get to see who you play against? I am on PS3 and I have not seen the username of the dude I am playing, is it there and I am just blind?

Overall for the few hours I have played it today I would give it a pass. Better than other league games I have played, but probably only enjoyable because it is league.

Only once. I grubbered into a Tigers player and he spilled it.

Anyone know how to effectively defend against bombs. I'm getting absolutely raped by them. 90% of the comps trys against me would be from them.

I've tried pressing Y but doesn't seem to do jack. In one instance my player actually moved from under the ball when I pressed it.

Maybe trying right stick to tap it over the dead ball line?

Game really needs a trigger assigned to strafe so you don't end up facing the wrong direction.

lol.. i was playing the Broncs and they put up a bomb, someone caught it and past to Petro right on the wing and he scored a try right near the corner post.. I dont think ive ever seen petro out that wide..

Catching Bombs are a mess... haven't seen a knock on yet in about 8 games..

I love how you can hold them down in the tackle for ages.. haha..

Can you create your own seasons? I see you can do a season and replace NRL teams with customs teams but could I create my own comp? If so how?
