Yep. There are still obvious faults in the game which are easy to exploit, like guaranteeing possession off a short kick-off. There's an unwritten rule though that they aren't used, these games have been the best I've played. Plenty of people playing 'dog pool' out there though.

If you get a list of tactics together that people are using as "exploits" I'll get the guys at work to come up with a list of ways to counter them. I know they have worked out tehchniques to defeat the short kick off and you then end up with really good field position too.

Absolutely loving Legend right now. Feels like a realistic game, hit-up after hit-up.

I agree with Gypsy about the unwritten rule. I will only do the short kick-off if the opposition does it first.

Another session last night and still not happy with the differences in difficulties.

Amateur career round 10 and 11 I won 62-18 and 84-18 respectively.

Next difficulty up, I started a new career and got smashes in the 2 trials 46-16 and 42-0

i started on pro from day 1 i didn't want to even try the lower difficulties.

I'm ready to really have a go on Veteran (i find myself losing but slowly getting the hang of it then drop back to pro)

when i start a new career i usually sim the first year as i find it better when you sign new players and start from scratch

Won my first game on veteran.

My downfall on previous matches was my passes at the line always being intercepted and in the higher difficulties you never caught the opposition. I was down 18-6 at halftime but i scored right on half time off a good set from the forwards and safe passing with Loko diving over off a Sandow grubber.

I threw one intercept in the second half and was down 24-6 after halftime. Then my forwards started to get a roll on (fui got injured though) so i had mannah on for the full game. Sandow dominated and i ended up winning 42-24. Felt good to get a good win on veteran

In the preliminary final against St. George, 1st vs 2nd. First round match I won 20-18 with two tries in the last ten minutes and the second one they won in Golden Point.

Winning 6-0, siren goes, for some stupid reason I decided I wanted to score more points. Dean Young intercepts, runs 70m to score under the post!

Luckily I got the field goal but it was going for all time worst loss.

I also jus put it on veteran but I'm having a lot more trouble. First game got beaten 40-0 can't seem to cure my obsession with throwing cut out passes but having it turn into a chip kick. Gonna drop it back to professional and than give it another crack..

Lost twice against some dude with a crazy offload, nothing i could do to stop it. I think i may have been lagging a bit, but it was like every tackle was an offload, it was crazy.

I get this a lot too, I have no idea why they don't use interchange but I ain't complaining.

I can't get any smooth passing out of dummy half, always have to run a bit then pass or get caught with the ball by the markers, can't pass straight from the ground like the AI does, any tips?

Set up your pass before the dummy half picks up the ball.
