Well Done Wallabies!!

i certainly didnt pick you guys to get up.... i though SA would just suffocate you.

it looked like it was heading that way but Aussie just hung in there and finally took there chance.

im not sure about Bryce Lawrence though... how the f**k was that a forward pass?? that was a deadset try for the boks. and what about the hands in the ruck when the boks were about to score in the first half??

Aussie can never complain about Bryce Lawrence again...

as for the All Blacks... hmm.... worrying times ahead i reckon... we almost have the full hurricanes backline... Weepu, Cruden, Nonu, Smith & Jane... and the hurricanes were f**ken rubbish this season....

im worried that were too reliant on Piri... if you can shut Piri down you almost shut our backline down.

mind you... the same can be said about Australia... if you shut Genia down you shut them down...

ill still back the All Blacks to win the semi... i just think Australia are too inconstant. they were great today... but they really struggle to put multiple good performances in.

they have the talent though... cooper must be due a big game soon...

Yeah that wasn't a forward pass. It was a square up for the 'forward pass' he pinged us for a couple of minutes earlier.

We played crap today. I don't understand how we won. Yes I do - Pocock. It was obvious that we played to Robbie Dean's game plan. Problem was it was the wrong plan. We played as if it was wet and windy and didn't have a plan B. I worry about what style he wants us to play next week...and i'm even more worried that McCalman is taking Higginbotham's bench place...f*ck knows what Robbie sees in him that Higgers doesn't have...

Don't like our chances against the AB's though.

1/4 this week, not a very good tipster i'll admit. Springboks got robbed imo.

Wales over France
NZ over Australia

Comfortable win for the All Blacks in the end. All Argentina planned on doing was to spoil the All Blacks ball all night and it did keep them in the game for a while but they were never going to get away with it all night.

The Wallabies victory was very similar to that of France beating the All Blacks in 2007. They had no ball yet somehow managed to win.

Aussie forwards did the job. Lineout disasters aside.

Pocock, Horwill, Vickerman, even Elsom. Pocock got turnovers and forced penalties to be conceded at crucial times.

It was annoying to see the backs waste what little ball the forwards could get in the second half. For anyone who likes to whinge about rugby there were some great examples of pointless kicking for you to use.

Tough defensive game - just the sort of win the aussies needed going into the semis.

Aussie v Wales final.

Isn't it funny how these 4 teams were the semi-finalists the last time the RWC was in NZ? For the record I'm tipping a rematch of the '99 final - France v Australia.

Have the all blacks ever beaten the wallabies in a world cup final?
there's stats and history pointing in both directions...

Good stats for Aussies

- NZ havent beaten Australia in a world cup match

- NZ havent won the cup in 24 years

- Every world cup winner(apart from the '87 winners for obvious reasons) has beaten the defending champions on the way to winning the world cup.

All bodes well for the men in black

- Australia haven't beaten the All Blacks in NZ in 10 years

- Australia haven't won on Eden Park in over 25 years

- NZ are the only undefeated team left in the World Cup and no team has gone on to win the tournament after losing a game earlier in the World Cup.

i think the biggest thing for Australia is the fact that NZ has been hit by even more injuries...

Mills Mulliania... Gooooooorne... in comes Gear

Colin Slade... Gooooooooorne.. in comes...

THE DUCK!!!

Beale may be out. O'Connor to fullback and Turner comes onto the wing.

This is going to be a massive game. Man, I'm so nervous and it's only Monday! f**k!

they have only played them twice...

i think the more concerning stat will be the fact that Australia havent beaten the All Blacks in NZ for 10 years... considering they play in NZ at least once a season...

Yeah, that is a bit worrying. Of course, the Wallabies have beaten the All Blacks 2 out of the last 3 times they've played.

Beating them in Auckland would be rather nice but I can't see it happening. I think it's going to be a close game. The All Blacks looked a little lost without Carter. Cruden is good though. He played really well.

but they have also lost 8 if there last 10 against the All Blacks.

its gonna be incredibly tough for NZ to get past Australia this weekend.

its really a toss up....

Pfffft the all chokes haven't got a hope. The wallabies have got this.

Wallabies by at least 12 with Quade Cooper to play the game of his life. Richie McCheat will probably do some low shit again like headbutt Quades knee to try and put him off his game.
