hahahahaahahaha

RTS still on annual leave from WC duty. Id say more of him staying in shape while he was on holiday (tahiti) than being unsatisfied with the training.

Fake news for sure.

I'm quietly confident it's been a good preseason thus far simply because there hasn't been big media write ups yet about how good it's been. Given RTS I don't think is even back on deck yet I am very confident it's dubious muck raking at its finest.

RTS is apparently unsatisfied with the warriors training regiment.

He has been paying a Personal trainer out of his own pocket because he doesn't think the training is good enough.
I call bullshit, probably other union troll trying to unsettle the Warriors

Drawing a pretty long Bow calling me a union troll champ.
Not calling you a troll, it’s just something I’d expect to hear from someone wanting to derail the Warriors (not that you are).

You said in your earlier post “RTS is “apparently”...” which I assume you haven’t seen it and heard it from someone else.

Most be due in the next week or so for the shots of the team running up sandhills before telling the cameras it's been the "toughest pre season ever for da boyz" lol, is a tradition now

Where'd you hear the news from champ.

No way RTS would be complaning about Corvs training and no way would a PT's training come even close to Corvs' regimen. And why would RTS do anything that would remotely go against what the team is going through?

The Bulldogs have signed a young fella Javvier Pitovao from the Warriors

I haven't seen him play but apparently he is very highly rated and was playing 20s as a 17yo last season

Just about every Warriors junior last year was 17 or 18. That's part of why they were so bad last year as a team.

Every junior who leaves us is "highly rated" and "yet another one who got away" but it would be interesting to see proper stats as I doubt we lose as many as people like to claim. There would be clubs who let a lot more juniors get away than we do.

Yep, but regardless of whether there are other clubs letting more go, there are also plenty of other clubs that do a better job of developing their junior talent into quality first graders - the ones we keep seldom develop, and successive 'coaches' have been reluctant to try any but their favourites in first grade - McFadden was like that, and Kearney too - with the season gone why didn't we try our young halves and hooker earlier given the dire shit that Luke and Foran were serving up week-in week-out - I know Roache got hurt but it was too little too late, and Hingano should have (IMO) been wearing 6 for a while - we were crap anyway, might as well be crap and develop - and if the "we might damage them" line is trotted out, well then I reckon if that's the case they're not likely to be good first graders anyway!

Pitovao was and is really good. Out of this years crop, including some of the older players like Sio who really under performed, he provided some starch at lock.Whilst disappointed about his loss am happy he'll be developing his trade at Belmore. One of a few coming right through the Warriors development system so got the 'best' that system could offer.

Better than most of this year's squad by far and should've gotten way more game time than the likes of Tyler Spade a tackle-bot who offered little else unfortunately. Pocklington got this one wrong too!

My mate whose brother in law trains with him at the crossfit gym in town. Said he used those exact words. That he didn't like the training that the club did and it left him feeling 'underdone'.

This is not a rumour but a fact, Wigan and ex Vulcans centre, Anthony Gelling is returning to NZ for family reasons. The Warriors are currently okay for wings & centres but I'd release Ken and possibly, Kata, to get him in the mix.

I wonder if the Roosters would have him back? LOL

Just a thought, shame he wasn't a prop.
He got himself into a pretty shitty situation if I recall.

Sounds like Chinese whispers where the message and contexts gets mixed from person to person.

Not saying he didn't say that, but he was with the Kiwis for the WC and unless I'm mistaken hasn't returned to full training yet.

So those comments seem more aimed at previous Warriors regimes (very believable) as opposed to what we're doing this season.

I have a mate who works at one of the Auckland sports clubs, he got talking to RTS's dad, who was saying a similar thing - when he first came here he was shocked at how little the club trained and would often finish training and then go and train by himself.
This was in the first year he was here, or maybe last year. I'm sure I posted that on here at some point

Previous regimes it would definitely be believable.

Remains to be seen of our current regime but until RTS actually gets to training and finds out it doesn't ring true he would say it about the currebt trainers.
