RUMOUR:parra have signed Frank Pritchard for 3 yrs-but why?

eelevation, there will be alot happening in the coming few days involving the contracts of Riddell, Kite, Firman, Head & Ryles. The dragons are very keen to retain Riddell but are struggling to find the cash to match the offer from the Eels. Riddell will go back to Saints management (today i'm told) and it all depends on what offer they make him. He's after a 4 year deal but so far Saints have offered only 2 years and less money than the Sharks, Eels & Souths. If they can up the offer it's likely he'll stay, or else he's keen to sign on the dotted line with us. Alot will depend on what happens with the other 4 players contracts though.

As good a player, as Ryles is I'm kind of getting the gist that Caylo may find himself back in the front row with the possible inclusion of Pritchard or Morrison or both!!!

If that is the case we're kind of sweet for props!

Besides Ryles would come at a massive price probably too big for a guy with a suspect shoulder!

They have not given Ryles or Head permission to negotiate prior to June 30 so one would think they'll be wrapping them both up shortly once they decide what they're doing with Kite, Pig & Firman.

...this thread has branched off onto several other players but just back to Pritchard, he met with Brown (Dragons) today and the Broncos are also interested.

I think the Eels, Dragons & Broncos were all talking to him last year as well from memory.

Mate, I'm not having a go at you nor am I insinuating anything sinister, and yes I understand that your releasing the players mentioned.

however, considering the fact that all the blokes except those your releasing would be looking at a substantial increase of pay and probably so they should and also you in a fortunate situation where players will be reluctant to leave on the back of the success you've had.
