Parra need a centre and a winger.

Galea, Talau or Whataria would be a good recruit to play in the centres.

I have also heard that Brandy has made mention of one particular player that they were desperate to keep but would most likely lose due to other clubs interest.

Whataria would be a handy - he needs a new home with the emergence of all the Penrith 3/4s

and I'd like to see Pritchard at Parra too.....what is the basis of him supposedly being all signed up by parra?....just that the Panthers can't re-sign em all? or does he have some other motive to come to us?

maybe hes motive is that hes is stuck behind new zealands first choice second rowers? even so, i wouldnt be leaving penrith for parra if i were him.

Well with Girdler going at the end of the season they most likely would want to re sign Whatuira. But Pritchard would make a great buy for us he and Nathan Hindy could make a pretty fearsome 2nd row combo

What about Jack and Hindy in the 2nd row??

Either way all 3 should be in the top 17.

Hindy plays 80 mins with Jack and Pritchard getting 40 each sounds nice

Given our recent history with long term contracts, I hope we don't offer him more than 2 years! From memory, our recent history with long term contracts is as follows:

Vella, Hindmarsh, Cayless, Lyon, Burt, Wagon - contracts renewed and long term extension added.
Vella, loss of form and frequent injuries
Hindmarsh, missed most of last year with injury
Cayless, 2 broken arms
Lyon, missed most of 2002 with injury and we all know the current situation
Burt, 2 broken collarbones
Wagon, loss of form.

Dykes - long term purchase. Missed almost 2 years with injuries. Rarely shown his best form.

Given we've signed up Witt and Tsoulos long term, I hope they fare better than the others!

Burt hasn't had a contract longer then 2 years in a while

He was signed in 2002 for 2 years then signed another 2 year deal this year. If memory serves

I think you're right. I stand corrected.

Sounds great Hurri. I can see Cayless moving back to the front row with his work rate and hard hitting will benefit the team the most. Imagine this pack for next season!

8.Cayless
9.Riddell
10.Cannings
11.Hindmarsh
12.Afasamaga
13.Pritchard

Looks pretty prime to me.

No offence Game First (I hope you are right), but I remember last year somebody said that they saw Kimmorley at Parramatta Stadium, and they said they had it on good authority he'd be in the Blue and Gold for 2004.

It hasn't eventuated yet, and probably will not.

Why would Pritchard wanna go to a loser club like yours ?
And for 3 years?
Come back when you have a decent rumour
