David Vaealiki and Pat Richards -----> Panthers.

Apparently aiming for Richards with Vaealiki a back-up replacement if he doesn't sign.

Vaealiki hasn't been the same player since he ruptured his achilles tendon. Damn shame as he was a very capable player - the games I've seen of him for Wigan he has been nothing short of woeful.

Congratulations must be awarded to the Broncos management, coach and the club in general for the prompt and decisive manner in which they dealt with their two errant players. This sort of action is good for the remaining players who now understand the consequences for inappropriate behaviour. It is also good for the clubs' fans and the NRL in general.

The Bulldogs could certainly take heed of exactly what is required of a "responsible" club although similar action by the Bulldogs would most probably have resulted in a two man team taking the field.

Well done Broncos and let's hope the other teams in the NRL have the same strength of conviction in future.

Costigan is back in Mackay and he will be meeting with Cowboys CEO Peter Parr on Monday.

Seymour > Warriors

Where did you hear the Seymour one? We have our future halfback signed for four years in Grant Rovelli. With adequate back up in Hohaia and Fien capable of playing halfback.
