Rumour Simona gone for 2014

Just had a thought (it was lonely). If Simona and Lawrence are both left centres, and without Ayshford, who gets moved to right centre?

Typically your best (attacking) centre should be playing left centre I believe. The better defending ( or less capable) type centre should be on the right. Better defensive centre on the right to also contain the oppositions better attacking left centre if you have that type of difference in your centres ( usually assuming all right handed) so Simona to the left I'd imagine unless Lawrence improves remarkably quickly

If anyone is going to replace Tedesco at fullback it will be Richards. I dont think Simona has ever played fullback and if I am right in saying that then there is no way I would play him out of position. That is something Sheens would do.

Simona has played fullback in NSW Cup on more than one occasion. Also played fullback in first grade, once.

Although Richards prefers the left wing he has played right centre at times in SL.Really noticeable last week that our left side backs are more potent than the right.

Simona has played almost an equal amount of Fullback and centre over his reserve grade/junior footy days. He'd be the back up fullback for Tedesco.

Richards has only played 11 games at centre out of near 300 games in ESL and NRL.

Think of Richards as being similar to Beau Ryan in terms of versatility. A quality winger who can competently cover fullback if required.

Tedesco and Simona would be better fullbacks, Simona definitely a better centre.

I hope koribete doesn't fall too far down the pecking order. His ball running ability is second to none. He's looked shaky under the highball at times but no worse than many others who've played his position for WT

Koro is our best winger people have a short memory. He will get back to his best and is yong and will eliminate errors

In my mind, Koro is the perfect example of why we shouldn't rush players straight from U20s to NRL.

Koro has had some fantastic games in NRL due to his speed and strength, but his handling errors are holding him back. He needs a nice long stint in reserves to get his experience up, then he will be an absolute demon.

Good to know that about Simona having played a bit of fullback. I think Richards will get a start though, his goalkicking is a factor too.
