Kikau is a wonderful player when he’s on song but he loses his effectiveness over the course of 80 minutes. That’s not entirely his fault though. We are so poor at using him as a decoy and teams numbered up on him forcing errors knowing we were inept at getting it out the back or playing off his lines.

Nathan had a wonderful year but his biggest issue is his inability to read a game. He is just rinse and repeat. That’s great when your team is on the front foot but when things aren’t working, he offers little direction.

Don’t let his consistency fool you, he has plenty of improvement in him.

Nathan reminds me of a robot. I rate DCE as superior. He can adjust his game to suit.
Nathan however could become so consistent with his kicking game that it would just strangle the life out of teams. Think origin 2. Sublime.

Kikau could always play 20 mins in the middle and 40 mins on the edge.
Plenty of sides use their best forward in the middle as a pin point for attack.
Jnr Paulo and Cam Murray are perfect examples.

Dominating the middle is the most sure fire way to win a footy game. I really don’t understand the reluctance from some to try our biggest and most talented forward in the middle. Yes he is a massive weapon on the edge and creates space for those around him but he will the same thing in the middle 100 percent.
