I have a question

Burton being signed for 2022 at another club, is there that “cooling-off” period in place where it isn’t locked in until July?

is there a possibility he can change his mind?

From the Panthers training photos, Rob Jennings is looking fit and buff for first week of preseason.

I know his signing copped some flack, but I think he was a good low cost depth signing, and is an option to cover centre during Nadens suspension if we don’t sign another centre. His 19 tries in a season with Souths showed he can fill a role in first grade if needed.

He went back to training voluntarily a few weeks ago with the jersey flegg squad, definitely good signs from him.

Rob looks like he has borrowed Michael's blender.

It balances out with cheap halves like Flanagan who no one rates but is better than given credit for. They are still upgrading if they play Flano/Averilo Vs Lewis/Foran.

Cotric and Addo-Carr on $600k each. That would of got them Tamou etc to improve where they need help

What good are decent halves if hooker gets poor service behind a beaten pack?

So Christian Crichton is out for the season now. I wonder whether Trent will now offer to take Mansour off your hands?

I think the club would want at least 1/2 of his freight paid for the 12 months. I think club is wanting to be firm with Burton, it may not turn out that way, but that's their ideal (I believe)

Thompson/Hetherington won't get beaten by many outside the top 6. In 2020 they would've won more just by adding Flano. They just lacked a little half play because Lewis sucks.

A part of me thinks R Jennings is going to perform roughly to the same level he has the last few years, ie not well. I dunno, just have a feeling he'll be better than we fear and Tigers fans expect though. Being back with his juniors mates, a better system in a team that's firing. He has the physical attributes and is looking fit af.

It might be the holiday cheer but I'll back him to take his chance and have a really good year.
