I refuse to waste any energy worrying about a winger who has scored 10 tries in his best season and has brain explosions every second game. If his rumored salary is true, he was overpaid and needed to go.

As for Blake, I will only be sorry we let him go if he now suddenly becomes an elite centre which he hasn’t been even in his best year. SOO selectors would rather play Dylan Walker than Blake, or Morris, Trbojevic, WIghton, Crocker, Hopoate. Xerri has made more of an impact in 10 games than Blake has in his 4 seasons. He was a solid centre at best and may have been a genuine elite player with his amazing athleticism, but he just hasn’t made the step up. This year, he is struggling to even be classed as ‘solid’ looking slow, unfit and lazy.

Good luck to Parra, if they can transform him they’ll deserve the rewards and sometimes a change of scenery is the best thing for a player.

I'm saddened that Blake has decided to move on. Whether he was pushed or not I have no idea.

He was never a player who went looking for work. Very talened but perhaps relyed too heavily on his obvious talent rather than hard work.

Why would we upgrade Naden when we could use him for free on his development contract? Makes no sense unless someone else has been put onto his development contract that we would like to get into first grade.

I mean it's better than pushing out say $900k worth of players in DWZ and Peachey, than putting it straight into Peachey and a rookie. But if we can use Naden without being in our top 30, why wouldn't we? We literally can use him for the rest of the season without that upgrade.

Was cheap too. I would of gone for Kata but I doubt the cap space was there
