Do you guys not understand the concept of information gaps? Some you're aware of and some you're unaware of. Try to think of "unknown unknowns" as unquestioned assumptions. Everyone has them.

I think it goes a bit further than that. It's similar to how economists distinguish risk and uncertainty.

When your payoff is determined by the toss of a coin, you don't know whether it's going go to come down heads or tails, but you know what the possibilities are (and in fact their odds).

For many deals though, you know some of the possible shit that can happen, but not all of it, nor the likelihood of each outcome.

Yep, in the industry we used to call it the too-many-moving-parts quandary.

The building industry, that is.

NRL finals: Rabbitohs stay ahead of sports science curve with cryotherapy chamber

PREMIERS South Sydney have turned the temperature to subzero in a last-ditch high-performance play aimed at surviving Sunday’s sudden-death semi-final against Cronulla.

In the latest example of premiership-winning coach Michael Maguire aiming to stay ahead of the sports science curve, the Bunnies splashed out for the only mobile cryotherapy chamber in Australia to be transported 850km from the Gold Coast to Redfern.

The entire South Sydney playing roster underwent two five-minute stints inside the minus 80C chamber at Rabbitohs HQ on Thursday, doing a two-minute recovery outside the chamber in between.

The Bunnies borrowed the concept from the Parramatta Eels, who reached out to cryoSports director Tony Northwood on a road trip to the Gold Coast last month.
