Idris would be a weapon. He may not be super fast but prior to injury he was the most brutal guy in defense in the nrl. Aslong as he comes back from his knee operation he would be a good signing. Getting to a good age now as well where he will start to peak. It does come with the element of risk knowing his past but id welcome him aboard.Penrith would be paying part of his contract too.

Why would the Raiders let Milford go? It happens, but obviously the Storm would only do it as part of a deal where they were getting something they particularly wanted. Don't think we've got anything they really want though.

They signed Billy for another 2 seasons.

The articles I posted above reckon he signed to the end of 2017 back in March. I've seen another somewhere that suggests that 2017 is a club option.

Huh? His contract was up and he wanted to go home to Brisbane to be closer to family. And even then Canberra threw ridiculous money at him to try and change his mind. They never let him go. They did everything they could to try and re-sign him.

He's our best defender, constantly leads our line in defence and has good service out of dummy half. He's a leader and someone we need at the club. He might not provide the best of running games around the ruck but he does pick his runs well.

There's absolutely no way we should let him go.

BTW i think De gois played just as well as was more of a leader then Peats was. Of course thats just my opinion thou. I do not recall peats making any good runs from dummy half this year and drawing a penalty.Something De gois does well.
