I tries to get Sam Burgess to confirm it on Twitter, he said he had signed a 3 year deal, then said no a don't know nothing sorry.
Sorry, the luck we have had signing the younger brothers of someone elses star player hasn't necessarily paid off......
Jamie Mahon, Daniel Brown, Matt Lockyer.... off the top of my head to start with we haven't done well outside of Nathan Hindmarsh.
Na mate we are saving it to pay the pokie tax..........:sarcasm:So have we signed anyone yet? Do we really have a sh*tload of cash to spend?
http://www.smh.com.au/sport/speedster-blake-triggers-fourway-bidding-war-20100803-115ir.htmlFour Sydney clubs are locked in a bidding war for Cronulla winger Blake Ferguson. The Roosters are favoured to win the signature of the talented youngster but his manager, Solomon Haumono, yesterday indicated the decision was far from final. Parramatta, Canterbury and Manly have weighed in with big offers for the 20-year-old. ''Everybody is thinking he is going to the Roosters but the other clubs have put forward some very attractive offers,'' Haumono said. ''We will have to weigh it up, it's not going to be an easy or simple decision.'' The late offers from the other three clubs makes a decision unlikely this week.
As talented as the guy is, we don't need him at all. With Sio and Loko in the NYC. We should be focusing on only halves maybe a front rower (John Mannah) or a backrower. If we can't get these positions filled, then we should save our money and front load some contracts. This would be a brilliant tactic(the Dogs used it last year) and heaven help us we will need it in the next year or two when upgrades to some of our lesser paid players in our clubs start demanding it.
We need to be smarter about the way we do things. Winger would be my fu*king last concern. This club produces thousands of them and it is the one position in the team that does NOT need years of NRL experience for the player to be able to handle it. What the hell are we thinking?

I heard on the 'other' site that he was actually a bloody good player......
Do you guys think he will be a fringe prop or our replacement for Cayless?
Obviously Manoukafoa is a reserve prop, and if this guy isn't up to scratch like you guys are saying then who do you think we should look at? Is there any quality replacement left, because at the moment (even though we played like sh*t on Saturday) we do have one of the best prop rotations in the competition.......
