Roosters have done well keeping it quiet but you don't release good guys for culture reasons
Kept what quiet? You’re just assuming he’s done something wrong. It’s absolutely impossible to keep secrets in rugby league, you can keep stuff out of the media, but it would have definitely been around the League community and there has been nothing.

Yes. Look at their losses they didn't need the cap space

Yeah they do, if they want KP or Brown

May would of been on $400k at a guess so you aren't getting much left after you replace him

not to mention he was re-signed in April

They were already losing JWH, Su'ualli etc by that stage, If that was the plan then don't re-sign him

It is a Roosters thing though. They are always in the market. As soon as they start losing they head hunt the best players. The Robson signing came out of nowhere and he is top draw. They've made some lousy recruitment decisions otherwise though.

They are ballsy enough to try and lure the Cleary family.

I'm sure they have already approached them

Probably.

I see a potential future with Nathan in Penrith (Or England <3 ) and Ivan coaching NSW/AU. To go to another club as a partnership is just a bit weird when they've got it made here. Splitting up makes total sense though and Ivan doing rep duties means he can avoid coaching against his son.

That is fine but that would or should of been the plan once they lost Manu and co.

So I don't doubt they have a plan for that. Just not sure a prop on an average contract is vital to doing it

Nathan probably goes has a bludge in France playing rugby or something post career.

He has achieved it all. Going to another club and flogging his body has no merit

The decision was made during the season review which was conducted at the season and was specifically focused on the 2026 onwards roster.

If there was some sort of scandal, it wouldn’t have played out like that. They would have just sacked him.

If Spencer were to return, he would be blocking the progress of an up and comer.
He knocked back the Panthers and Bulldogs to get the big bucks at Roosters. so suck it up Princess.
This is business.

He won’t be back we can’t fit him in, but If he’s blocking someone, it’s because he’s better.

At present, he makes our starting 17.
