Not exactlyalbino?
Would be a massive upgrade for Penrith if true.I’ve heard Schinder back to the Super League and Cogger to us.
But I’ve not heard it from anyone I’d consider credible.
Easily both are better than B.TalagiJock Madden would be like signing Schneider, very underwhelming.
You don’t watch a lot of Football do you?Easily both are better than B.Talagi
I do, that how I know, talagi can't tackle for shit, and jock madden and Brad Schneider can, they are both way better tacklers, especially for halves, therefore won't make us a liability in defence, something that f**kn turnstyle Blaize is renowned forYou don’t watch a lot of Football do you?
You can't teach heart...effort,You can teach defence, but what Blaize will bring in attack is what we will need more. Luai was a great defender as is Nathan, but Blaize has that off the cuff style that creates opportunities. An off season will do wonders.
You reckon Ivan Cleary doesn’t know more than you, please. If the Coach thinks he got what he needs, than I will back him.You can't teach heart...effort,
seriously teach defence, go away, you just suckin up coz you think we bought some diamond in the rough, we got a polished turd, I was extremely happy with last year's pick ups for 2024, Alamotti and Schnieder played their roles, and didn't disappoint, but these two mercs are extremely underwhelming, Papali'i, I'm sure will be useful, but not exactly worldbeater status, might make fringe 17 like our past tetevano did.. and talagi is a waste of salary cap that could've been spent on upgrading our youngins or Atkinson from the sharks (who just got signed for '26 at the dragons)

Both Papali’i and Talagi are International players, but you think neither will make our 17. Go and have a good look at yourself in the mirror Super Coach.
Mate if two tier samoa is what we call international, then Charlie Staines is a super international winger..You reckon Ivan Cleary doesn’t know more than you, please. If the Coach thinks he got what he needs, than I will back him.

Not all international players are built the same, especially for the Tier 2 nations. Talagi playing for Samoa says more about their available player pool than it does about his ability.
He might be a stud and do really well for us. I think most of us want that to happen. But a bit of cautiousness should be allowed given what we've seen this far.
Papali'i has buy of the season potential IMO. I think he will do very well here.
And as I said before knives out on Tailagi is just weird. And it will still be weird 5-6 rounds into the competition when he will be written off by some. 19 years old with 19 games to his name? We aren't seeing his best for ages.
This is correct... its all I've been saying, handing him the keys to 6, when guys like romey had to sit behind maloney for several years, to become arguably the greatest 5/8th we've had, then to see this turnstyle take his place is laughableI don't think it is knives out. More he is 19 and people expect he is a lock for the 6 jersey in a side looking to win a comp?
He may get there. He may not but it is too soon to say either way
You know the logjam we have at centre. So he certainly wasn't signed to play there.......I don't think it is knives out. More he is 19 and people expect he is a lock for the 6 jersey in a side looking to win a comp?
