So players playing for Samoa aren’t classed as Internationals now either. Give me a break.
Ok so how many cook islanders are in this "International" status? Coz its getting tiresome listening to people throw around the word "International" to describe elite players, when really just means ethnics who have been selected to fill up pacifika teams, that doesn't mean they are elite, herbie farnsworth ran over the elite international kid and scored two tries like he got dunked at the hoop, coz he was the weakest link in that elite Samoan defensive line

Schneider, purely coz he is the right age and weight, and has the runs on the board in attack and especially defence, let talagi prove his worth in cup, then give him a shot during origin at 14, cole is the obvious next man up, just needs more bulk and time in and around the 1st grade side
If you’re good enough, you‘re old enough. As for weight, come on.

Top 30 squad players are listed. We don’t know which ones are fringe.
Like you said Preston didn't play 2nd row, we must have just better guys in those positions, so he is off the bench and squeezed in wherever Ivan needs him
(Aka rotation prop)
Like you said it don't mean anything what the nrl site posts as positions, fish was a lock, but no way is he lock now, premiership winning prop

I said playing for your Country makes you an International. No where did I say how strong or weak they are. So Luai playing for Samoa doesn’t count? It means they are elite in their Country. Not every Country is going to be as strong as Australia or NZ.

You really are clutching at straws now.

This is my point.

No clutching, you were throwing our how good talagi was coz he played for Samoa, (badly I might add)
Yet you labelled him somewhat "worthy" coz he is an "International" FFS

Both Papali’i and Talagi are International players, but you think neither will make our 17. Go and have a good look at yourself in the mirror Super Coach.

Soni Luke is Tonga's International off the bench hooker, you think he is starting in our top 17

It's fine if you share a difference of opinion, but to call fait accompli on positions is laughable

Talagi is and was labeled by most NRL experts as a freak of a talent. But somehow you see otherwise. Not sure if I even said he was a walk up start at 6 either, just using your logic him and Cole are the only listed 6’s on a Website. And I would personally go with Cole to start with Talagi in 14.

Merely suggested we didn’t sign him to play NSW Cup.

Anyway I will take a 19year old playing badly for Samoa over a hack like Schneider, even though Schneider is the right age and weight as you put it.

A hack? Fk me... he probably has more highlight reels and tries scored than talagi when he was at his age, you've bought into the hype.

Are these the same experts the idiots at fox that label like brooks as the next Andrew john's bwahahaha

If he was, you would think he would be playing consistent First Grade by now. I am pretty sure Brooks has close to 150+ First grade games under his belt.

International representation isn't just about being good enough for that level. It's what it does to your game.

Lindsay Smith playing international football is a good thing. He gets to be around a bunch of other quality footballers. You lift your standards.

Exactly what will happen with Blaize playing at Penrith.
