Why would we want him? We have a 1,6,7..... Melbourne and sharks would be logical.
But just like when we tried to sign falou for 250K the NRl valued him at much higher so we couldn't. I mean obviously the same would happen here right? He will want to sign for a lot less then his value which would have to be min 300k. Cant see melb or sharks having that much room too move. Its unfortunate but hey you cant have two sets of rules in professional sport.

The NRL, under previous management and with f**k wit Ian Schubert running the cap, made a bad call with Folau.

Just because they got it wrong before, doesn't mean they should get it wrong again.

Well Benji turned his back on league. for the big $$$ And at 29 I wouldn't say he would be a huge boost to the NRL.
He is a great player but maybe was is more the word

Yep. If they changed the rules after what happened with Folau then I'm fine with it.

Yeah well they should also give us first rights and some concessions on the cap to negotiate with Israel if/when he decides to come back to league given they f**ked us over the last time.

We may or may not be interested but fairs fair.

Of course they won't, because we are not the Roosters.

That's right, there is one rule for the Roosters and another rule for everyone else.

.....wasting your breath mate......it's much easier to believe that everyone's out to get us, rather than that we've been an amateurishly run a considerable period of time.

That's effectively saying that he can't play in the NRL in 2014, as nobody has that sort of cap space left in the middle of the season.

Why should we care? He already left the NRL, and only wants back in because he failed at union. Does anyone really miss him? Certainly not the Tigers, they're leading the comp now!

If he had a WT contract till 2016 then that should still be his valuation, as it would be for any other player. If the NRL just bends over backwards on this then it will only encourage more players to leave, because they will know they can always come straight back in if they f**k it up. No thanks.

Or that other clubs get favoured, rather than the clubs themselves actually knowing what they are doing.

Whether he is shit or not or whether the Tigers miss him or not is irrelevant. He is a big name player who will attract interest and put bums on seats. Him coming back to league can only be a good thing for the NRL. The merkin should never have left.
