"The Penns will now implement a new, vibrant five-year plan for the club to ensure continued success."

So you're telling me that we're not the only Club with a 5-year plan?

First I agree kelly arent a regular NRL player but he does have the ability to fill in.

So what is wrong with having Kelly as a back up half? He is probably only on a second tier or minimum contract. What other back up halves are there out there with NRL experience that are willing to pretty much be stuck in NSW cup ?

It's not like he is going to stop our juniors in Matterson/docker getting a run if they are good enough.

Yep, agree. No biggie either way, he won't be Top 25, and there are worse halfbacks running around in the 2nd tier competitions. He at least seems to be a reliable sort of character who can fill in in FG in an emergency.

Agree. Yeah but don't let common sense get in the way of #spagspin.

The stronger Wenty halves and forwards are the better our backs will develop as they get more chances at finishing and attacking plays.
Kelly wont be top 25 anymore and is excellent signing for a guy outside top 25.If Sandow did get injured he can come in and do some sort of job. You do need a halfback for wenty - Not sure why people would be upset about this.

All we need to sign for 2015 IMO is a good centre.Thats if Hoppa is going to the back.
Semi Hoppa have two spots filled and if we can sign a decent centre Between Davis-Morgan-toutai-falou-Crooks-Champion-robinson-fariamo-lavaka there is enough talent and depth to fill the other two spots.
Dogs made the GF with maybe the worse fullback in the comp and two short slow wingers ive never heard of.....

Krisnan Inu has been starting for Stade Francais Paris in the past few weeks. This is the team that Gaz played for and former Wallabies coach Ewen McKenzie was in charge of. They're also the team that have those crazy pink jerseys.

Anyways, I found this from the weekend press after a recent Challenge Cup match vs a Welsh team.

Flanker Lewis Evans rose to steal a lineout and the Wales wing reacted swiftly, cutting a lovely line off Rees and bursting through a weak tackle before racing past Stade speedster Krisnan Inu for a super 40-metre try.

Speedster ?

Im sick of the people winging on here about our club and signings. Here is my tip-Parra will be better in 2015 than 2014. The club will be more united. We will be a closer group of players. We will win the comp in 2016.And that will be without Hayne wh will never play for the eels again.......

Tbh I'm sick of people whining about people whinging.

Seriously - the only player who could carry this team left, and our signings have all been "depth signings". What do you expect?

Positive thinking. Our pack will flourish next year.Especialy if watmough is a part of it.So we are stronger in that department.Especialy with a fit Nathan Peats and the addition of wick-Fa'aaso and an injury free lussick.
Hoppa may also fill the void made by Hayne and returning to his position he played juniors at become the star he was made out to be.
Leaves a few holes for centre but i wont be suprised if we end up signing a centre in the next few weeks. We also have loads of young guys in the backline that may break in.
And matterson may also add something to the team come half way thru the year.

Some exciting times IMO
