If we somehow get both (and I don't think we will), say goodbye to Hayne (forever), Hopoate and Sandow.

I'm pretty sure we already have... it just has to play out the way it is publicly to appease each party's media profiles etc.

With those three gone could we afford it? Maybe.

I'd say we won't take both Foran and DCE... and don't forget reportedly Watmough doesn't get on with DCE. So we should be able to keep one of Hopoate or Sandow. Sandow should be cheaper for us this time around, but we're really short on quality centres...

But if a numer of clubs are interested in Hoppa, which I'm sure there will be, it would depend on how much they will be willing to pay whether he stays with us or not. How much less do you think he will be willing to take to stay?

I reckon if players are happy, then they are more likely to take a discount. Could be like 10-20%. Managers are never happy, but they tend to agree on slightly less to stay in a winning culture if they believe it gives their client greater exposure (ie, more FTA), and therefore a better chance at rep (more $$), or non-NRL related 3PA.

I reckon Manly will want him back. Not sure if they could aford him though after paying Matai and possibly DCE.
Then there are teams like Cronulla, Canberra, Brisbane, Canterbury who could use a quality fullback/centre.
I'm sure someone will splash the cash.

I don't believe the figures the media say he is on one bit, in-fact I know it isn't that much.
What I reckon though is he will stay for cheaper if we can bring Foran to the club. Players will play for less if it means success.
I believe we will be a top 4 team next year.
