It's not Arthur that I am pessimistic about. Our board is far from a settled and professional entity and until, (if ever) that happens, then expect to be disappointed. There are still elements of our club, as we all know, that are totally self serving. Therefore two steps forward and at times it will be three steps back.

As for Arthur, he is doing just fine. In fact more then just fine considering the toxic crap(parts of the board, Anderson and the ever present Fitzgerald influence) that he is dealing with on a regular basis.

Also I don't know if anyone has brought up the importance of Bill Moss and The Premiership Club. Besides the Arthur affect, I am sure that due to Bill's influence, connections and assurances, whatever third party arrangements were setup, Bill would of been the prime reason that Foran and his management team would of felt comfortable enough to sign on. For mine, this is the most positive thing that has happened to our club in decades.

Now that is just the first real step to becoming more like the Roosters and Dogs at management level. Once we get a new Stadium with a tram connection line from the train station and all the new developments($100m) super club plans and a new completed modern centre of excellence training facility, then Parra can start to really live up to all its promise and massive potential.

This will of course all hinges on us, sooner rather then later, extricating ourselves from all the destructive forces that have hobbled us for decades.

Time will tell if a truly great future lies ahead or the same old, same old continues on its merry miserable way.

We all deserve better.

On the news last night, Brad Arthur said that there was no need to "move or get rid of anyone'. Now, by 'move', I guess he meant 'move on' - because someone will have to move. (Unless he's planning on playing Sandow off the bench or something.) Personally, I would move Hoppa back to centre, but I'm a bit concerned about Norman at fullback - he hasn't shown us a running game yet.

Concerned about Norman at fullback???? Weren't you the one pushing for Robinson to go back to fullback???? Norman would be a much option than Plodinson.

Did you happen to read why I'm concerned about him going to fullback? Or did you just skip over that bit? I love the guy. One of my very favourite players. Silky skills. But I haven't seen him run yet. And if he goes to fullback, he'll have to run. Robinson can run. But you were right about Robinson, I think. He's really disappointed me so far and proven to be a liability in defence big time. I do think he'd be a better fullback than winger (he just looks lost out there), but would he be good enough?

He'd be a great fullback option for Wenty. If and when Hopoate plays Origin then he could play a game or two there as well. Other than that....

There is nothing wrong with Normans running game, he was very good for the Bronco's there, last year his running game suffered because he wasn't 100% fit. Plodinson would be a disaster at fullback IMO.
