Peach is a better utility than Salmon is full stop. Salmon is a better defender and perhaps a little better as an out and out forward in terms of hit ups. Probably better at being a 'controlling half' as well.

But Peachey gives far better cover at centre - can slot in at #6 and do a decent job and can also play hooker at a pinch.

Peachey is also a far more dynamic runner of the ball in any position.

He played the full 80 this evening, I thought he was very good. He was very involved in attack and defence. He was certainly one of our best.

I think it’s more about form of other player in particular hosking and Lindsay. They’ve been to good to leave out and someone has to miss out as a result.

100% correct.
Lindsay Smith is by far the biggest improver in the club.
How fortunate were we to get Zac Hosking as a battle hardened Cup player unable to cement a spot elsewhere. He fits our defensive style and can find a hole.
And after last night the debate about tall versus short wingers should be put to bed. Tito and Bizza are as safe as the good tall wingers and way more effective doing the hard stuff out of our own half.
