It was hard to watch Cogger on Sunday and not have the thought that Luai's money might be better spent elsewhere.

Cogger did awesomely but he was playing up against exhausted defenders who had no ball in the first half and were gassing out. If Jarome was fit he might have been causing even more problems in the last 20 minutes.

I thought Luai pre-injury looked great in attack.

Everyone stank at the start of the year not just Luai. By the Storm match in June we really clicked.

We work the middle, It makes sense to then attack the middle for the lazy defenders... people are making too much from it

He was one of if not their best this year.

Almost 100% tackle rate in a deadbet team and over a 100m avg a week in a shit pack.

He was reliable and hard to tackle every game..

I said on here 3 or 4 months ago hed be a solid pick up.

Only 27. Id be very happy if we got him for a decent price. In our system i think hed become one of the better props in the game.

He has the ability to stand in tackles and get an arm free..

Soro was a revelation at 2nd row and i think i was probs one of the first on here demanding it.

Laurie is to small and not seasoned enough to defend at 9 if he has to.

I love laurie.

Whilst you amd the other fan boys were calling for staines to stay i always wanted daine. Hes by far the superior player.

Equal speed (as referenced at the time.. was a quote by one of our trainers 3 years ago from memory) and better ball skills...

But hes not a 9..

14 on the bench needs to cover centre, 2md row, lock, halfs and 9..

Laurie covers the halfs and could shuffle the backs around for him to cover other spots if need be..

Hes a good player but a 14 i dont see it.

People saw him in his limited time and thought he was great but he lacks the speed.. hes similar to wade egan but his defence is poor and was in cup too... if he can sort that out he may jump up the ranks a bit.

Jack cole is 2 years off

I watched a cup game earlier this year where one of the biggest plodders in the game alex seyfarth literally purposely head highed and shoulder charged a few of our blokes. He waked mav right across the jaw and mav got up and just took it... no agression nothing...

If that was martin youd bet your bottom dollar seyfarth wouldve been belted next run but mav went into his shell..

It really stuck with me.. he had the chance to stamd up and stamp his authority but he went mia after it happened..

Lisati its another big break or make year.

Henry will be a nrl player.. whether its with us i dont know..

Casey mclean will probs pass his brother by the end of next yesr id say.. easily better than jessie..

Another bloke that needs a rocket and just to put his head down is Daeon... kids a freak with ball in hand and a bit of space but he has hands like feet and rocks and diamonds..could be and xavier coates if he knuckles down.

As it stands he will probs have to go to super league.. hes not quite nrl top 8 or 4 team level imo..

You wrote him off years ago after critta had played 1 game at fb and staines had a few games in the nrl...

Alamonti will be a very good signing mate. Taylan will have his work cut out getting in the team at centre.

And i love taylan... yes i think hes capable and i hope he gets first crack...

Whilst soo many were calling for tago at 2nd row i said 18 months ago nsw cuo were at there best with taylan and tago at centre..

Also the reason Staines got a big contact here was Edwards REALLY struggling to even pass in a simple backline movement. This is a fact.

Peachy was.. and he did great. I mean in terms of fill ins at nrl level he was above avg to say the least...

Tago was 19 in his first year.. there wasnt anything else pushing him out..

My point is why did you back staines when his performances were shit house yet yiu wanted tago on the scrap heap and edwards you had written off..

You seem to miss the most important things players show.

Tago had errors in his game but i routinley said 18 months ago he would be the best centre in the game.. pre injury this year he was a beast and the best in the game. He was doing thongs critta cant even think off..

Thay game against melbs in melbs this year was deadset 110% turbo and latrell like.. he just beat players at will and scored when he wanted to..

The kids a freak.. he will get better too...

Jenkins i was all for coming in but only on the wing... you dont bring in players in the nrl in a spit they havent even played in cup... thats a fact.
