It's terrifying Lukabell was a copper. "These blokes are good at footy so let them be"
There seems to be a bit of that here.

He's more realistic for sureIf it’s a prop we’re after then Bunty Afoa just hit the market.
Sorry if I misunderstood what you said.
My only thought on this subject is, that the actions of his two drop kick brothers, should not be a reason to sign him. I think he’d fit really well into our system and just go about his business.
I’ve no doubt he’s way to expensive and the club is most likely not willing to risk having another May at the club and that’s fair enough.
But playing wise, he’d be a real weapon for us.
That all said, I wouldn’t sign him. I’d prefer to spend cash elsewhere.
The offences Tyrone was convicted of involved filming intimate acts without consent. No where in the proofs of the offence is violence an element of the offence. I’m sure the Magistrate would take into account any adverse emotional impact suffered by the victim in determining sentence. However distasteful his actions were they did not involve physical violence, offer or threat of violence."Violence" can be interpreted many ways. It used to be pretty much confined to a physical act, but now it's more broad. I'm not sure that "emotional violence" is an accepted legal terminology, but it most definitely a term that is used and accepted among society.
Emotional Violence would be how an act left the victim emotionally after the fact. In the Tyrone case the women involved you would think would fall under that category. I do agree that labeling Tyrone a violent sex offender is hyperbolic, but can see why people go there.
After listening to Matt Camerons youtube video with james graham and hearing about how the squad is basically planned out for the next 3-5 years i just dont think signings like this fit.
We only got papali cause fish left out of the blue.
I agree hes a terrific player but regardless to whether he has done nothing wrong or not i think the mays have burnt there bridges with the club and id say there is no chance that a May will ever play at the club again.
No doubt the plan is to slowly phase leota out over the next 3 years with patea to eventually come into the 17 full time and then hopefully within 3 years or so the lemoto boys are knocking on the door if we can keep them away from Rah Rah.
The way i see it i think yeo probs has 3 good years left in him. Leota maybe 2. Soro maybe another 2. Edwards maybe 3 to 4.
The rest of the boys should be right for 4+ years so the club has done a terrific job for future planning.
I wouldnt be suprised if Eiso gets more games next year. Hes extremley reliable and hes never let us down. Mav hopefully can kick on next year. I think if he fails to really kick on he may be moved on.
I said it wasn't physical and also that it probably didn't fit legal terms. The offences Tyrone was convicted of involved filming intimate acts without consent. As I have said previously it is disappointing the Police investigation did not identify who caused the wider distribution of the recordings. Maybe they did, but didn’t have sufficient evidence to initiate criminal proceedings. Disappointing because that person or persons also committed an offence and escaped justice.
I read this and saw the meme. My first response was don’t drive unlicensed and who are you to tell me what to do

The point remains, his actions resulted in damage to 2 women's emotional wellbeing. Some would regard that as a form of violence. We aren't talking court proceedings or official charges.
I would also be pretty comfortable that he had no intent whatsoever to cause any harm physical or otherwise to anyone. Fact is though that he did. Whoever distributed it should have copped something, but if it wasn't filmed there is nothing to distribute. Sometimes stupidity has a price.
